Ahha, The pretty, pillbox hat, puckering picolo girls!! Now they are a joy to behold. I often wondered where Andre found this troupe of tall red uniformed stunners.Never saw them again after that ! They certainly gave " Stars & Stripes" some zing. This was from the official Andre Reiu shoot, and it is part of his London concert in The Royal Albert Hall. Thanks for posting.
Perhaps the question might be - Why is a Dutchman performing an all-American tune for a British audience? Probably because it's such a popular melody that compels a person to mark time to and lifts their spirit.
l first stumbled upon Andre Rieu about eight years ago, on PBS television. For those who know his work, he does quite a bit to support local television, here in the United States. l was never a big fan of the classics, until that day. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!! A few years had passed, and l had the opportunity to see him and the orchestra live. l bought two tickets, second row center, benefitting my local PBS station. l never knew music could ever affect me like that!!! A magical evening!!!

@goinghome20XX You will never hear the Stars and Stripes Forever played at a Circus. It's considered bad luck.
