  • your all wrapped up in this natural crap what is natural about a person being on a horse .A horse eats shits sleeps dies natural..... Man chases, catches, ropes ,saddles, mouths, trains locks in a stable or yard puts in a float performs at shows, not once have i seen a horse in the wild do any of these very very unnatural things. So take natural and shove it.

  • And this guy or program was used to train my 3yr old paint I bought in august!? Im sorry as I dont like being mean but I will not use this program on my horses! Sorry but Im permenantly switching to Stacey Westfall, Clinton Anderson, or Sherry Cervi. Sure there are some good things about Parelli but NATURAL! horsemanship does not use whips! My horse is terrified of whips! Hmm I wonder why?..Natural horsemanship uses ONLY body language! YeaAll who dont agree can block me! But I Care For My Horse!

  • What an idiot. He's damn lucky the horse didn't break a hip turning around and jumping off like that.

  • WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN???

  • First, I can't believe he had the divider out so the horse could turn around. We teach them to go in okay, but also teach them to Stop and back out Before we let them all the way in. You all have to admit he has had his hands on a kajillion horses and had some great successes, but he isn't the worlds greatest, but he is pretty good, better than me.... We went to Road To The Horse last year and we thought he was an embarrassment to real horsemen. Anyway, I wish I had his Millions!!.

  • As a long time pro horse trainer it's sad to see gullible people get ripped of by this con artist ,

  • For all the negative comments on this video you all are idiots. The horse clearly has gotten away with not loading, so he releases the pressure when the horse looks to the trailer. You cant buy lots of treats and expect your horse to respect you. The horse isn't afraid of the trailer nor does Pat whip him, so do yourselves a favor and leave the trailer loading to the professionals!

  • He just made him scared from the trailer

  • Plonker.

  • hummmm when did he hit the horse, where is the whip n war bride you talk about

  • is the guy taking idiot tablets?

how cruel do u have to be?

a horse will going into a trailer if u keep calm and positive, not by hitting the horse, making it scared of the trailer. spose if u give a man all the room in the world, it makes em think there the boss n they can do anything to who they want, whenever they want regardless of the fact that the animal or human has no defense.

  • A war bridle and a whip. What? The war bridle stop working or the whip? So the obvious next step is to use them both.

  • I would not stand by and let someone treat a horse the way that man is treating this poor creature.

  • SSSSSSSSSSSSSSStupid

  • @tedi3854 whos stupid???

  • @hyperfocus2011 The Method and how uses it ...

  • ya the end of video was not to good...

  • @hyperfocus2011 That was my favorite part! Poor horse. Bet the next step was harder yanking and more whipping.

  • What a complete tosser this guy is. Owner not much better, grinning like a bloody moron whilst Pepperoni beats her horse up. To top it all, he is so busy congratulating himself that he allows the horse to leap out of the trailer. Unbelievable!

  • Seriously, that Parelli crap does way more harm than good and the horses often have the last laugh (as this one did) - also, was the trailer actually attached to anything cos that's a serious NO NO from a safety POV and also horses know when something feels insecure under foot so if it wasn't attached, I think that's an amazing horse to load and that stupid woman doesn't deserve such a good horse. Scary to think that some people think this is acceptable and credible horse handling **headdesk**

  • @whisk29043 NO it wasn't .. you would think he would know better!

  • @whisk29043 I think poor lady didn't dare say anything but she doesn' seem happy or relieved... more stressed and suffering from seing her horse in this bad situation... the smile is fake, her hands in one another to keep it together and confort herself... that's sad...

  • Had the horse been PROPERLY trained to go in to the trailer it would not have BOLTED OUT!

    Parelli is bullshit.

  • the horse only went in the trailer because he had nowhere else to go. everywhere else he went, he was smacked in the face. you shouldnt force a horse into a trailer. its very dangerous. the worst thing is that his owner stands by watching and smiling while a strange man whacks him with a stick.

  • You lot below make me laugh, you just can't stop watching Parelli vids can you!

  • @Ozzy0234 Yea! and criticizing them! LOL

  • What the fuck is he doing 0.53 and forward hitting the horse in the face with a stick??????????

    FUCK off animal abuser!

  • @clone12345678910

HE WAS NOT HITTING THE HORSE IN THE FACE! ARE YOU BLIND. Noy only was the horse pushing into the stick (natural instinct to puch against pressure), but those plexi glass sticks DO NOT HURT AT ALL. They are just annyoing. Try it on yourself before you judge others

  • wow. People are absolutely thick.

    REAL THICK.

    That poor horse.

  • Good God, it gets worse. Can you believe the owner stands there grinning inanely? But the youngster got the last laugh on Parelli, just a pity he wasnt standing in the way when the horse jumped out!

  • uhm... fail.

  • That man is a total idiot and then some !!!

  • what an idiot!! I used to like Parelli, but couldn't do it as, surprise surprise, I couldn't afford the £1000 books or whatever! Then I saw that thing about Linda hitting that other horse on the face with the rope, and then the whole Catwalk thing...I'm so glad I didn't waste any money on this pile of crap! all they do is bully horses into doin what THEY want, and call it natural!! pffft! bunch of twats

  • @Minstrel98 You're so right. The Parellis bully horses and then answer every criticism of their doings by accusing the critic of lacking sufficient knowledge and therefore failing to understand. This video is really revolting, although it perfectly illustrates that with Parelli, it's never about the horse because it's always about the Parellis.

  • @hannjenn LOL. Bully! HAHAHA. wow. Shows how much you know. SOME people just don't get it (shakes head). I truly pray you don't own horses. ;(

  • @86Horsechick I own horses and have for years. I also taught hunt seat equitation to many very good riders, including those who competed in Medal/Maclay, so my competence isn't in any legitimate doubt, but if you really think "Oat" Parelli's conduct here, meaning the insane way he loads the poor horse into the trailer, is an example of anything excellent, I hope YOU don't own horses.

  • @Minstrel98 LOL. SOUNDS like you NEED HELP> tehe

  • @86Horsechick F*** OFF

  • @Minstrel98 *chuckle

  • Just waiting for the Parelli Kool-Aid drinkers to claim that this is in fact a marvellous demonstration and that we are just not "savvy" enough to understand.

  • @Jinete789 You're only savvy enough if you can hit your horse in the face with a whip. But if you chose to love and respect your horse for the animal it is, then you're just not doing it justice, so then you have to smack it a few times with a lead rope. If that doesn't work, just get a holiday with all your hard earned cash and send the horse to the meat man.

I too am not savvy enough :)

  • @MissHeatherAnn1 LOL. THAT IS NOT A WHIP!!! YOU NEED TO BE LESS DIRECT LINE THINKING. THOSE ARE PLEXI GLASS THAT DO NOT HURT WHEN PUT AGAINS YOU IN ANY WAY. TRY IT ON YOURSELF< AN DYOU WILL SEE IT'S JUST ANNOYING... not unlike your way of thinking. yuck. rhymes with...

  • Am I the only one who always got told to keep whips, sticks, whathaveyou's pointed toward the ground and NEVER, EVER towards a horse's face?

  • @cotoncandie Maybe we should send Pat the Tw@t in the Hat to pony club, that's where we learned not to wave sticks about:) - oh, but I forgot, it's not a stick, it's a CARROT STICK, hence completely different of course :P

  • Wow, what a moron. My old horse was a bad loader and every single thing the idiot did would have made the situation worse. And that demo would have been over the minute he started in whapping the poor thing's face. Way to make him headshy.

  • This is disgusting to watch

  • The horse injured his left hind leg turning around and jumping off.

And everyone laughs, ha ha, how fun. And another couple thousand dollars in Pat Parelli's pocket.

If anyone actually ever gave him a hard horse to work with, he'd be a dead man, the way he positions himself.

  • Well that's about the worst example of training a horse to load I've seen.

He needs that bloody stick taking off him and preferably inserting where the sun doesn't shine!!

  • Two questions- one, what the hell is he trying to do, and two, is that woman drugged?

  • Poor horse. What was he trying to do - teach it to be a bad loader?!

  • Why does he take his attention off the horse to talk with the woman? Maybe 'cause she's cuter than Linda?

    Ole'?????

Celebrated a bit to soon, think that horse learned something?

  • Why is that stupid woman SMILING as the twat is hitting that beautiful horse? I wish it had kicked his smug head in.
