@northvilletunnels Ya, your right. I saw both Roger and Peter in Toronto and sat near the back for both. They were completely stunning. So glad I get to see some of my favorites before they all go off the radar. (I'm 16) still counting on David Gilmour!
this was a show, like Roger Waters where you really don't want to be up front. We sat dead center second level the screens look way more defined and the sound was amazing. The I phones do OK recording but soon, not soon enough there will be a infra red signal that will effectively kill I phones at concerts. I cant wait. Even so nice bootleg.
@therealintruder Oops, sorry 'bout that...I was tired and got it all confused...but 165th show?? What do you like more, his work w/ Genesis or solo stuff? It's probably a dumb question, 'cause you never saw him w/ Genesis, but there's a LOT of great footage and all "The Lamb" slides w/ the early Genesis box set that came out recently,(which any Peter Gabriel fan should have). I can only count the performances I've seen on one hand, but I did get to shake his hand, and ask him what "IT" meant...
@therealintruder ...actually it was more like 8 times I've seen him, but that includes the Genesis ones, too..."The Lamb" show will always be my favorite musical/visual experience of any kind by anyone ever...but there's always that little rumor of a reunion floating around...The Musical Box did an INCREDIBLE job of recreating "The Lamb", I videotaped it, and I should post some of it...they used all the same slides Genesis did...have you seen it?
@cathoderoy I definitely prefer him today than with Genesis. I started listening to them when The Lamb came out, but only saw them together at Milton Keynes. I know and have all the Lamb footage floating around, and also saw the Musical Box re-doing the show (also Selling England) but never really got into them at all.
As I said, I do prefer Peter's own stuff by far: my first PG show was in 1978, the last was HMV Apollo, and in fact it was number 175
@therealintruder Yeah,I saw him in '78, as well,in a club in Boston, where I had a seat at a table that was right next to the stage..he sat down in front of the piano when the lights were still on and sang "Me and My Teddy Bear",then I handed him a drawing I worked on all night..he said, "That's very good.", shook my hand, and I asked him what "IT' meant, and w/out hesitation,he said, " 'IT' means what it means.", and I said, "I KNEW you would say that."..so there you have it, no more mystery!
I wondered how he would be able to reproduce the backing singer off the album version. Melanie and the other lady do a pretty good job, if toning it down just a little bit.
This was my first Peter Gabriel concert ever, since I'm only 17. I've been a fan for as long as I can remember.. even when I was a little girl. My dad absolutely adores him and played his music while I was growing up. I am so happy I got to see this show live ! I was at the third row with my dad, sister and brother and it was the best experience I've ever had !
@MyMmoira93 how wonderful for you! I loved him since I was 8 (i'm 32 now) I'm seeing him in Toronto for the first time in June. Wish I could see it with my Dad too =)
Oh wow, that voice - amazing!

@cathoderoy: looks like you slightly mixed things up... MyMmoira93 is 17 and it was her first Peter Gabriel concert.
I'm 48 and this was my 165th PG show :-)
But there have been another 6 since then!

"Heavenly, divine. My goodness, I just can not otherwise describe. Chicken skin!!"
That's what Google tells me you mean... and I agree ;-)

@therealintruder
Ha ha ha! My english is not very good, but i think, the translation is not bad. Hühnerhaut means in english: Goosebumps!
Simply one of the most emotional intensive concerts i ever seen....!
