More like the whip in this game isn't a weapon at all. It doesn't even do damage to medium sized and large sized enemies. They should have just brought back the Whip from Spirit Tracks.

The whip mechanics with the inherent wiimote awkwardness does not seem like a wise decision for Nintendo. But it is also unwise to admit you're not perfect at something on youtube, which is home to experts in every possible activity. Great episode, this is the farthest LP I've seen and it's invaluable for people like me that can't play the game.

Using the whip isn't hard, you just have to thing about how you're using it. All you need to do is swing it from up to down to grab those, like how you'd use a real whip. All the misses were because you used it diagonally from lower to higher
