@ajs777 Commonwealth my foot, In Africa take it or leave it, we do not like gays, if you are a hero like Robert Mugabe, Yoweri Museveni or even the Anglican church in Kenya, be informed that we don't accept those who are gay, just as there was a stop gap measure with Don't ask don't tell law, in 1993 to mitigate until when homosexuality was accepted across the board, so are we having that law in Uganda. I am not sorry to say that I accept every aspect of that law.

@ajs777 If I do then I will sacrifice such a child to the gods just as we did in the case of twins and albinos, if my child became a thief or a murderer, I cannot keep them because society would not allow such. So too bad if my child became gay. We say in our language that a child can be born and die, I will consider them thus if they take that route.

For those calling for the cessation of western interference, could you also temper your requests for cessation of western aid as well; aid such as that which made free primary school possible in Kenya. You cannot have your cake and eat it. Aid comes with strings attached, and a beggar then cannot dictate the terms of his rescue.

It is Americans holding conferences in Uganda teaching your leaders about how to deal with gays. You say leave you to make your own laws? Well MAKE your own law, becuase this isn't a law drawn up by Uganda and educate yourself what is behind this law.

We must always remember those less fortunate around the world. When many citizens from around the world venture in third world countries sometimes instead of leaving aid, they leave disease after sodomizing younger boys and girls. Many local people can't afford the medicine and it's like the end of the world for them. let us be fair!

Exactly my thoughs... sadly enough, most people who base their homophobia on a pair of sentences in a 2000+ years old book, fail miserabily at through knowledge of the same book. They insist in the Bible "condemning" homosexuality, yet "forget" the Bible condemns many, many other things, often in a more harsh and definite way.

maybe so, but the ONLY problem I see is that people think or use western standards, and here gays run rampant so I don't think america is trying to stop gays, the gay shit is wrong and i'm not even religious, hell anybody who decides to sleep with the same sex is nothing less than a beast, it's a damn shame, I personally think gays just want attention so they do whatever it takes to get it, I don't care if people are gay, but they should move away, they don't belong in normal society
