I came to this video after looking at the spelling of Rasberry. Rasberry is what I have been spelling all my life and today I see this on the internet. "Raspberry" Seriously does anybody hear a fucking P in Rasberry? There are a lot of words like this. The English language needs to be reformed. We are allowed to think now. Get to it. Fix that dam language. I left off the N on purpose. Don't get cunty with me.

I can see clearly now that english language is SOOOOOOOO stupid. Example: W- one sign, 5-6 voices. H- one sign, three voices. In comparison to Serbian language where 1 sign means 1 voice, english has no chance. And also if we notice that some of scientists found that Serbian cyrrilic could be learned in about 1,2 days - it's surely maybe the utmost language, and I'm serious.

PS: To Latino (especially Spanish) people, Serbian is difficult. pls, no nationalistic comments.

Hum is spelled 'hum', it was home that it took issue with on the way up, why did he change it to hum on the way back down?

Also, the English language is a wonderfully complex language that has evolved over hundreds of years. It might be difficult to learn but millions of non-english speakers learn it every year. It's more the effort that's important, there are millions of second language english speakers but most first language english speakers simply can't be bothered to learn another language

You're absolutely right that it's a awkward language, but when you are raised with the language you don't know better l guess. In Dutch we got very strange grammar rules, but this video is about the spelling itself.

Every time i get Microsoft i have to spend the first afternoon going through typing every word the Americans spell wrong into it and adding the correct spelling.

I can't even begin to understand how their sentences make any sense - just wrote on word 'who goes there' and it tried to correct me by saying it should be 'which goes there' - infuriating!

@MrBane39 for one change your dictionary from English (US) to English (UK) problem solved. and being british myself i completely agree with this guy!. english is a amalgamation of french,latin,german and bits of other languages. in its current form it is one of the hardest languages to learn owing to its discreet nuances. english evolves all the time, you try speaking Shakespearian english nowadays you would be classed as a freak. speak our english in Shakespearian days you would be locked up.

The fact that the english language is taught throughly and not native to foreigners, they get the chance to actually learn the grammar and so. Native people (the new generation kids) try to spell words as they hear it and speak as hear, not as they learn. Hense the difficulty of seperating there, they're and their & the popular your and you're. Foreigners know english well, the natives don't

For example, num (though not exactly a word) can be short for number, while numb means something entirely different. You can say the same for cum and come as well :P
