  • It's the worst when it's snowy and you want to ride! You still beasted though lol. I just bought this bike and I'm super excited. I hope it's a good bike for a beginner to start street trials on.

  • @Kingpin3o7 Its probably one of the best bikes to start out riding with! :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones Awesome, I'm so glad to hear that! Thank you! : )

  • Nice to see 2 or 3 tricks repeated and stretched out for over 5 minutes.lol

  • no 1600 dollars

  • Liked the onboard camera bit a lot. thanks for making.

  • à quoi servent les gants s'ils sont dans la poche ?

  • @flobg66 The gloves are there if John wants to use them :-)

  • 3:51 that kid in the background.... is he trying to fakie or something???

  • @JkJ165 He just happened to be there when we turned up, I guess he was just trying a few bits and bobs on his own :-)

  • Glad he didn't do anything dangerous - like bathing, for example... =D

    Awesome vid, btw! ;o)

I'm a unicyclist so I definitely understand the added challenge of riding on a snow (even though I'm still getting comfortable with regular riding and my first little jumps). I do ride a MTB too but it's actually more comfortable to ride a uni during winter for me - I can keep my breath more calm on it so I'm less likely to catch a cold that way... :o)

  • how much was that bike?

  • @13woj13 Its £969 at the moment. Available from Tarty Bikes, a link is in the video description.

  • @MrJonnyJones thanks :)

  • How much does the bike weigh?? my budget mountain bike cant even do that lol

  • the awsome feeling when you have a new bike, just so good

  • awesome, what's the gear ratio?

    peace

  • sweet video bro

  • ur a well good rider!! u seem abit like a bmx rider

  • @LFCLEWIS4 John watches a LOT of BMX, so the influence is always there I guess :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones yeahh i s'pose

  • hey,..i want to by one of thes bikes where could i get one from ? :)

  • @97djjosh See the video description, you can get them from tartybikes.co.uk

  • Is it possible to do these tricks on a 26'' bike with front suspension or will it be too heavy? I have a bike like this and i think it is too heavy, I cant hop properly with all that.

  • @wirew Its been done - Ryan Leech and others in Canada/USA use front suspension. I've even tried it, it makes landing to two wheels way nicer. It really depends on the bike though. Budget front suspension bikes will be heavy, more expensive (or custom) bikes will work the best.

  • Does he wanna sell one of his bikes ??

  • @georgeyrrell9 John likes to collect frames and bikes so I doubt it :-)

  • how do you set up the rear derailleur im having hard time figuring it out... Please respond asap so i can get back to riding!

  • @FpsKid1 about 12kg

  • Which lens did you use to record the video? It looks pretty nice!

  • @Siupabaika Hiya, I used a Canon 18-200 and 50mm 1.8, the Glidecam stuff was all shot using a Sigma 10-20, really nice wide lens. All shot on a Canon 7D.

  • is bigger than a bmx right?

  • @strategoulas BMX's have 20" wheels, the Element in this video has 24" wheels, so yes :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones oh thank you! :D

  • @MrJonnyJones its a beautiful bike

  • Where did you get the bike from? because I really like it

  • @hiitisWill You can get it from tartybikes.co.uk - Information is in the video description, thanks.

  • Jonny? Not often am I speachless.....

    ATB Malc

    CPTV

  • i used to like this guy, and then i added him on facebook and he deleted me and it really put me off him, i love his riding and he reminds me of an older me but i wish i hadnt fallen out with him:/, maybe he will come and say sorry after seeing this?:)

  • @joshallsworth Its only Facebook... if you're on a ride, just say hi :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones will do, any of you on a ride enar bristol after christmas?

  • @joshallsworth Hopefully yeah!

  • @MrJonnyJones okay, well i would love to be going on that!, i'll ask you about it after christmas:0)

  • Do u think he would sell it ???

  • @georgeyrrell9 Probably not.

  • What bike did u have before u got that one

  • @georgeyrrell9 John had an Inspired Fourplay... think he still has it, although its gone through a lot of colour changes lol

  • i'm really interested in getting a trials bike and from what i have seen they're quite slow from pedalling, is this just the video perspective? is it different in person?

  • @EPIKVip3Zz They are easy to pedal. But it has to be like this in order for you to get up and over obstacles as well as do tricks. You wouldn't be able to do anything in a really hard gear :-)

  • can you tell me how can you move the camera so smoothly? What did you use to to that?

  • @Siupabaika I used a Glidecam 4000 Pro - its a kind of budget Stedicam :-)

  • 00:35 ... BEST SOUND EVER!!!

  • What is your oppinion on yaabaa 799 26" trial street it's ok combination between Hayes MX2 mechanical disc brakes front in combination with Magura HS33 blocks TNN / Phat / Trial / Rockman? Please response me ^^

  • @TudoThe0ne I'll be honest, I've not seen or ridden with any of the stuff you're interested in. Best thing to do would be to email TartyBikes... they know everything about any bike part, frame etc! All I know is the TNN pads are brilliant!

  • wheels 24" ?

  • @smilyczek Yup! The new 26" Element is now available, too!

  • What are the Frame brakes model?

  • @TudoThe0ne Avid SD5 V brake on the rear and BB5 Disc on the front. Excellent brakes, especially the front disc brake! Avid SD7 levers.

  • Hi, i just bought this bike and trying to put it together. everything is going alright except i can't fit the handlebars on. is there a trick to take off the black thing on the cylinder i put the handlebars on? No matter how hard i twist it wont go off. please help me i've been waiting for this bike for 3 months and now as i've got it, i can't ride it!!!

  • @GoProGuyHD Hi there, by cylinder I guess you mean the stem? You should be able to take the front of the stem off (four bolts perhaps?) then place the handlebars into the front and put the cap and bolts back in, whilst getting the bars even (wiggle left and right). If you mean the steerer tube from the forks, loosen the stem bolts and then slide the stem on/off the steerer tube and then tighten the bolts. Hope this helps :-)

  • Awsome intro !!

  • are there any tips and tricks videos made by any of the Inspired Bicycle riders, id love to get some tips from any of those guys!

  • @ketle1vodka Hi there, yes Euan Beaden has made two. youtube .com/user/euanbeaden74

  • how tall are you man? REALLY WANT TO KNOW CUZ IM GONNA BUY tht bike :D

but im 182 and dnt know if it will be good for meh.. :/ PLS TELL UR OPINION :)

  • @EMINEM4ever0 John is quite tall - over 6ft tall. He got on with the bike very well with the stem that came with it. You can always get higher rise bars and stem if you feel the need :-)

  • How Much For This Bike? I Am From Poland

  • @BlackWhiteMinecraft Get in touch with tartybikes.co.uk, they will tell you how much it will be for you. Or they might suggest a dealer closer to you :-)

  • @BlackWhiteMinecraft too much 4 you polsky

  • COOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can anyone tell me what style of bike that is?

  • @TheWildernessExpert It's a 24" street trials bike.

  • Can anyone tell me what style of bike that is?

  • @TheWildernessExpert the inspired element.

  • 2 people are stille jumping over planks in their driveway

  • I watched Danny MacAskill and I like. it.

I watched Sean Watson and I liked it.

I watched John Shrewsbury and I liked it.

And now I gonna buy one of these fucking bikes.

  • @bananaspy Good stuff! They've just bought the 26" version of the Element out. So if you were unsure if 24" was for you, there's something else that you can consider :-) See tartybikes.co.uk for more.

  • @MrJonnyJones 26" is death! I have a 26" trials bike I'm trying to get rid of! xD Not recommended.

  • @MrTelepot Each to their own I guess :-)

  • Comment removed

  • @bananaspy watch alistar clarkson :)

  • @bananaspy you missed out ali clarkson! D:

  • @bananaspy well, did you? :)

  • @attesmm I actually did! I'm still far away from bunny hopping over benches, but I enjoy it anyway :-)

  • Two things, what tyre pressure and would you prefer the fourplay pro cause i have the budget but if this one is good enough then i wont.

  • Nice video. Can you tell me something?

Why do you use a V-Brake on the back instead of a disc brake?

  • How long have you been riding?

  • 2 people bought Zoots

  • Hello! Mondjátok meg hogy mennyibe kerül ez a kerékpár! thank!

  • Nice riding dude, got the skills to pay the bills.

  • Phenomenal video, phenomenal riding skills. You deserve way more views.

  • @2394098234509 Very kind, thank you!! Hopefully the views will go up, it just takes time :-)

  • was this bike modified or did it come like that already?

  • @vipersickboy24 Straight out the box :-)

  • That backround music if you can remeber the Splinter cell chaos Theory game play music haha

  • @ANGELICW4R It is! It's by Amon Tobin from his album Chaos Theory Remixed - info in the description!

  • I'm thinking of getting the Onza Zoot as a 24" bike, because I can't afford the Inspired Element, know if it's any good or not?

  • @BillyLikesMetal No I've only ever seen Onza Zoot frames break - quite quickly too!

  • @BillyLikesMetal it's a good one to learn on, your first bike will always get battered to shit

  • fantastic. that goes for the filming, editing, and most importantly the riding! hats of to you

  • i wish i wake up with a box like that holding a inspired element bike 2011 XD .nice skills nice video.

  • Great riding !

How tall are you man ? I'm a quiet tall lad that want to get the Inspired Element, but unsure about the 24" :P

  • @Guttanhehe John is about 6ft 1" so he's quite tall! 24" has never been a problem even for riders taller than John :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones Great to hear ! Thanks for the response, great filming and editing btw :)

  • @Guttanhehe Thanks! We had loads of fun making it as well :-)

  • how much john?

  • @joshallsworth Look at tartybikes dot co dot uk for the most recent price :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones okay thanks man!, howcome john doesnt reply to everyone himself?..just a thought?

  • @joshallsworth Mainly because John isn't on YouTube and this is my account haha! Simples :-)

  • @MrJonnyJones ohh okay fair enough, he isnt the nicest of guys on facebook :/

  • @joshallsworth I don't believe that for a second lol, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in person. Sometimes written words on the Internet come across in different ways to different people, thats all I can say I guess :-)

  • @joshallsworth I don't believe that for a second lol, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in person. Sometimes written words on the Internet come across in different ways to different people, thats all I can say I guess :-)

  • @TVjoakim If you want one, sell the others and put the money towards the Inspired :-)

  • @kfcman78 Its a brilliant bike for the money! Highly recommended!

  • this guys a dick on facebook...

  • @joshallsworth Not true. He's a good mate. Sometimes people can seem to come across in the wrong way depending on their wording. Trust me, he's a good lad!

  • @joshallsworth whys thats?

  • Love The Bike! Love The Video! AWESOME!

  • I just bought one of these bikes, I ride it everyday now! GO INSPIRED!

  • MrJonnyJones, Could you ask John Shrewsbury what upgrades he has done to his element? I have started to upgrade the bike myself, but simple things, like grips for my big hands, and bumping the brake levers up to the SL series. The element is sooo nice im going to treat it like a god.

  • @LeftTechticle To be honest I don't think he's done anything apart from changing the bars and rear brake pads. He's riding the Inspired Hex more these days. Just personal preference I think!

  • does the bike have 360 degree gyro handle bars? plus i came coz ov your ebay action

  • @woodsylad1 No it doesn't have a gyro.

  • I have this bike there are very amazing

  • im an ok rider and i like bmx and trials bikes so should i get this bike or is there Any bikes which is a simoler tipe bike which is good.

  • it also may be cheaper to just buy a rear wheel with a dice brake mount and the rear brake it self but thats a $300-$400 for a good set. but from what i see in the vid he seems to be doing fine with a v-brake.

  • if anyone has any Qs about trials riding just hit me up with a post

  • Hey, great vid, do you know whether this has a hydraulic back brake or not ?

  • @9inety5ive it dose not have hydraulic brakes. but if you want the you would have to switch out the wheel set and buy the brakes

  • @fizz9119

ok thanks for the reply, which inspired bikes have hydaulic ?

  • @9inety5ive Inspired Fourplay Pro 2011 is the next level up

  • @fizz9119 I prefer the element over all of the inspired bikes because it seemed simpler and I like the yellow.

  • Ahhhhhh Jonny you beast! Such a nice video. Props to John's riding as well but a little too bmx-y for my liking.

  • This gets me stoked to ride my element

  • how long did it take u to learn

  • Really love this, everything goes so well together filming wise and riding is amazing.

  • is this bike single speed?

  • @sebleton Hi mate, yes its single speed. 22t front, 16t rear (I think!)

  • @MrJonnyJones Thanks for the reply! :D I really want to get this bike, but it seems a little too expensive to learn on, so I got the Onza Zoot instead :D

  • my big dream for 1 yaer ago is to buy a n inspired bike but it so difficult to find one ... could some one help me ??? ;)

  • @franskmand1995 Go to tartybikes.co.uk. That is the best place to buy an inspired.
