It's the worst when it's snowy and you want to ride! You still beasted though lol. I just bought this bike and I'm super excited. I hope it's a good bike for a beginner to start street trials on.
Glad he didn't do anything dangerous - like bathing, for example... =D
Awesome vid, btw! ;o)
I'm a unicyclist so I definitely understand the added challenge of riding on a snow (even though I'm still getting comfortable with regular riding and my first little jumps). I do ride a MTB too but it's actually more comfortable to ride a uni during winter for me - I can keep my breath more calm on it so I'm less likely to catch a cold that way... :o)
Is it possible to do these tricks on a 26'' bike with front suspension or will it be too heavy? I have a bike like this and i think it is too heavy, I cant hop properly with all that.
@wirew Its been done - Ryan Leech and others in Canada/USA use front suspension. I've even tried it, it makes landing to two wheels way nicer. It really depends on the bike though. Budget front suspension bikes will be heavy, more expensive (or custom) bikes will work the best.
@Siupabaika Hiya, I used a Canon 18-200 and 50mm 1.8, the Glidecam stuff was all shot using a Sigma 10-20, really nice wide lens. All shot on a Canon 7D.
i used to like this guy, and then i added him on facebook and he deleted me and it really put me off him, i love his riding and he reminds me of an older me but i wish i hadnt fallen out with him:/, maybe he will come and say sorry after seeing this?:)
i'm really interested in getting a trials bike and from what i have seen they're quite slow from pedalling, is this just the video perspective? is it different in person?
@EPIKVip3Zz They are easy to pedal. But it has to be like this in order for you to get up and over obstacles as well as do tricks. You wouldn't be able to do anything in a really hard gear :-)
What is your oppinion on yaabaa 799 26" trial street it's ok combination between Hayes MX2 mechanical disc brakes front in combination with Magura HS33 blocks TNN / Phat / Trial / Rockman? Please response me ^^
@TudoThe0ne I'll be honest, I've not seen or ridden with any of the stuff you're interested in. Best thing to do would be to email TartyBikes... they know everything about any bike part, frame etc! All I know is the TNN pads are brilliant!
Hi, i just bought this bike and trying to put it together. everything is going alright except i can't fit the handlebars on. is there a trick to take off the black thing on the cylinder i put the handlebars on? No matter how hard i twist it wont go off. please help me i've been waiting for this bike for 3 months and now as i've got it, i can't ride it!!!
@GoProGuyHD Hi there, by cylinder I guess you mean the stem? You should be able to take the front of the stem off (four bolts perhaps?) then place the handlebars into the front and put the cap and bolts back in, whilst getting the bars even (wiggle left and right). If you mean the steerer tube from the forks, loosen the stem bolts and then slide the stem on/off the steerer tube and then tighten the bolts. Hope this helps :-)
@EMINEM4ever0 John is quite tall - over 6ft tall. He got on with the bike very well with the stem that came with it. You can always get higher rise bars and stem if you feel the need :-)
@BlackWhiteMinecraft Get in touch with tartybikes.co.uk, they will tell you how much it will be for you. Or they might suggest a dealer closer to you :-)
