i saw the movie about a month ago. the movie was going alright until about 20-30 minutes in. the suicides were too elaborate. are we actually supposed to believe that a toxin drove someone to kill himself by turning on a tractor and lying down in front of it? and i usually have high tolerance for dumb movies.

One of the many problems with this movie. How about what I call the "proximity rule." Whenever someone committed suicide, the closest person to the first one copied that form of suicide, followed by the closest person to the second one and so on. Wouldn't everyone try to commit suicide at once?

I liked this movie's premise. Unfortunately, the execution was mediocre at best. [pun intended :) ]

I liked the movie. It was realistic. I think thats why not a lot of people like it, because they couldn't understand how true everything was in the movie. Just think, what if all that stuff just suddenly happened in real life? It would be as scary as hell. I admit, It's not Shaymalon's best, but it's curtanly not the worst.

Acually, he's right. Its weird, But in my science class, I'm studying curtain plants. And a lot of them give of a gas thats harmless to humans but harmful to insects and germs. In the movie, It is a bit exagerated, but thats basicly the truth.
