  • Reminds me of the old days

  • @Silicinomafia

I can defiently picture that in my head:)

  • This song is sooo emotional

  • I always imagine a bunch of WWII soldiers riding in a truck towards a battle zone. The new soldier, a young boy, only 17, is shaking from fear so the commander casually asks him if he has a girl waiting back at home for him. This song is playing along with a voice over of the young soldier describing his girlfriend while scenes of battle are taking place, overlayed with scenes of the soldiers still in the truck, overlayed with scenes of his girlfriend. This song truly is creatively inspiring!

  • Such an amazing song. Have heard it hundreds of times and still love it.

  • This reminds me of the feelings I had when I met my husband. We talked for hours, he didn't know how much I had fallen in love with him on that first date.

  • such a haunting , yet sad feeling to this song . i love it , it`s beautiful ..

  • Why I it named lavanya?

  • Why is it named lavanya?

  • :( to :)

  • This music sounds kinda sad

  • This song makes me want sing , dance, love , hate , explore. I want to travel to far away places and see family love , eat , and talk with each other. I want to look at other cultures and say why not ,instead of why. I want to touch the stars and to live in peace.

  • @shayvpire Why does this song make you want to hate? Or maybe you didn't mean it :)

  • @Clxves because hate is part of life just like love , they are like ying ang yang , and can't exist with out each other

  • This song can be a great theme song for the movie Soul Surfer.

  • 3 personas lloraron al escuchar esta hermosura de melodía, y estúpidamente pusieron no me gusta :(

Para mi es la mejor del disco

  • This song has so much imagery to it. Relaxing, chill, and beautiful.

  • love the song titles but does anyone know what they mean/are

  • i'm going to make a mix of E.S Posthumus's songs, and then do my important dressege race on it, good idea? thumps um for good idea, thumps down for bad idea (:

  • Those 3 people Don't Undestand true melodic music like this.

  • When my Grandpa died I recommended this song to my parents and they were crying for a half an hour.

  • @jnashification I only wish I had known of these guys when my own grandfather died. This is the perfect song - it has that element of remembrance but yet again that element of uplifting knowledge - knowing that they've moved on to another world.

  • such a peacefull song

  • Where's the "if you no thum this coment i will shove my foot up your ass" BUTTON!?

  • @badflamer There's already a movie named Dreamcatcher, it's a really creepy alien movie lol

  • @Drenz219 lol, well it doesn't surprise me, funny that you'd mention it since my parents are watching it in the other room now. the good thing though is that movies, like songs, can't reserve names to themselves most of the time (if you want to copywright a movie franchise's name you kind of have to go through some extensive paperwork ad for over cash so most directers/producers don't bother with it).

  • @badflamer i lol'd at how rage filled that was. Chill

  • this song made me think of a girl, she is a natural born dancer, with a heart of music. i didnt get a good feel of what happened, but i know she is heart broken. she runs in the rain. she stops at a fountain, on a full moon. and dances. a young man, sees her, and has his breath stolen. then on a turn, he sees tears floating away from her face. when she stops dancing. she sees him. they come together. they know they have found love, at last.

  • @chrischrossed looked at ur playlist, loved it lol

  • (continued from third) make his 'dream life' into reality. his girlfriend, however, tries to stop him and make him realize that that life is nothing but a dream ad that he has to stay where he is and make a better life there. He ends up going to the amazon, chasing his dream, and she follows him, chasing her love, trying to bring him back

and yeah, the whole thing is basically like a movie trailer in my mind and at the end of the song youd see the title fade in, something like "Dream Catchers"

  • @badflamer Cool story, bro!

Can you tell us another one?

  • @chrischrossed yeah, last night i fucked you mom, she gave shitty head, so i knocked her out, now go eat shit and die troll. you have no place on an ES vid

  • @chrischrossed and, and what chapter do YOU stfu in?

  • @badflamer That's a cool story. Music does things like that to us- they make us think of things like that story, the things we don't normally think of without them.

  • @thiatheheroine lol, actually i'm an aspiring author and adid roleplayer so stuff like this kinda constantly pours out of my head lol. but i have to admit that ES is always a major creative stimulant. I have comeup with countless move plots listening to their songs.

  • (continued from second) this, however does nothing to ease his depression as he sill does not trully love her and the rest of his life remains bleak. at 2:24 he is sitting at home, flipping through the channels when he sees a news broadcast about some environmentalists in the amazon, fighting against its deforestation. he recognizes the place as his 'paradise' and one of the environmentalists in the group as his 'wife'. Awed by this he realizes that he needs to go to the amazon and (continued)

  • (continued from first)his paradise was a dream he had while in a coma he was in after he miraculously survived his attempt at suicide. realizing this he falls into a deep depression as he is tormented with the thought of going back to his old life. getting out of the hospital He attempts to jump off the same bridge but the woman whom he is in a relationship with, her passion for him having been reawakened when she almost lost him the first time, stops him. (continued)

  • this sing makes me think of a guy who lives a sad, lonely day-to-day existance, constantly repeating the same routine, taking shit from his bosses, stuck in a relationship with a woman he doesn't love and who gets so sick of it he ends up jumping off a bridge. then at 0:45 he wakes up to find himself in a paradise-like world where life is simpler, more beautiful, and he is married to the woman of his dreams. at 1:40 though he once again awakens to find himself in a hospital. (continued)

  • This song is addicting. Like every other E.S. Posthumus song.

  • Perfect 9/11 tribute song

  • Where's the "I will LOVE this until I die" button?!

  • @iFenceU Right next to the "Press this to kill yourself if you dislike this video" button.

  • @iFenceU Marriage isn't done with a button. Celebrities only.

  • i give this song a 15 ...based on a scale of 1-5

  • aww i broke my like button :(

Reminds me of m childhood home in Puerto rico

    so hard to not cry

  • aww i broke my like button :(

Reminds me of m childhood home in Puerto rico

  • Algebra is so EPIC!!!!!!

  • While I'm listening to this, everything seems to be pointing upwards to the sky. I hear a bit of an airplane in the background, then I looked towards my pet fish, it was jumping up as if someone was going to feed it, then I looked outside, the tree, the tree was just so crisp in colour.

  • Awesome

  • Magical.

  • @Deliathin ... your comment is the worst I've seen on any ES Posthumus video.

  • This song is so beautiful. It fits a variety of moods, I love it. It works when I'm sad, when I'm happy, and when I just need to think. It's perfect ♥

  • Reminds me of my childhood, every summer I went to India, weaving through the coconut trees and exotic flowers in my grandparents' courtyard, that to me then seemed like they grazed the sky. The memory smells of the monsoon season, of fresh earth and warm rain, and feels like humidity and my old, thin cotton dresses, and the unpaved roads under my bare feet. It sounds like anklets softly jangling, and the gravely voice of the samosa street vendor, and the children who lived next door, praying.

  • @heyitssia I suddenly feel old and nostaligic, but I'm only 19. This song reminds me of the blissful simplicity of being a child, where every new thing felt magical, like an adventure. I've lost that sense of wonder for life as the years have passed, but sometimes, when I listen to evocative music like this, I feel like there's still a part of that in me. Thank you, E.S. Posthumus.

  • @heyitssia That is so........Hazily beautiful... :,)

  • @heyitssia yes but now India is a shitty place full of rude people and too many of them who have been born into this world. All stabbing each other for money and jobs. So much of competition to gain hold of power and money. Such a disgusting state it is in now.

  • @heyitssia This was very beautiful, my friend.

  • @heyitssia

you just painted a brilliant picture for me for this music..you write beautifully ;) use that talent

  • @heyitssia beautiful description. I agree this music goes very well with that picture.

  • @heyitssia That's a such beautiful memory :)

  • @heyitssia sounds very poetic)

  • @heyitssia That sounds so amazingly beautiful. India, from what I've read, is a beautiful country. I would love to visit it one day!

  • Wow...with this music...You can certainly feel Gods breath...

  • This will be the music playing when we reach the Pearly Gates

  • The tun-tuna (ting ting ting, you hear in back ) ,and the name Lavnya, theres no mistaking it ! this was inspired from "lavni" music ?

  • E.S. Posthumus's songs sound like your having sex with sex on ecstacy while eating cotton candy and marshmellows. the number one best things in life.

  • wow... I'm going to buy this album .. ( Even Though its 30 euro >.> )

  • I listen to E.S. Posthumus when i go to sleep :) lol

  • This makes one think of days past, and of days to come of amazement and wonder of what will come and what will be.....Thank you E.S Posthumus for all your wonderful music and all the dreams they have created....Love always...Me

  • This is absolutely and fantastically beutiful.

  • I never truely knew that sound could be beautiful until I heard this song, it takes you and your emotion on a journey where you will encounter many difficulties and opsticales yet you can still make it in this hard life these rough times we live in... Truely beautiful

  • ..why is this music so powerful..

  • plus, her name means "beauty and grace", which is the first thing that comes to mind listening to this...

  • my sister's name is lavanya! hm, perhaps this album will convince her that i have better taste in music; e.s. posthumus always create such inspiring, beautiful music!

  • A song that truely brings out all of your emotion

  • Sounds like this song was in a Final Fantasy game before...

  • @ragiin You say that because this song brings that type of loving memory to your heart that is Final Fantasy.

  • @jshjamaar Go die, final fantasy isn't nearly that good when it comes to music. Not until they got to 11 and up, but Kingdom hearts and whatever Yoko Shinomora has done is an exception.

  • I feel like I should be in a semi-rural area, it's winter, and a young couple are playfully playing in deep snow, then one of them gets hit by a car....

  • I can ony imagine just a girl and her best friend who is a friend

just running in a flower meadow

Or laying down in the soft grass

They don't need anything else but the person their with

  • I wish I could of chosen this track for my granddads funeral it reminds me of him =[ amazing piece of music which really moves the mind, just close your eyes, take a breath and let your mind take you away

  • when the bass comes in near 0:29 you just feel the need to stand up and wear a cloak in the wind, the day awaiting you to come outside and kick some ass.

  • love e.s posthumus . when i listen to their music, my imagination flies away with the tunes lol :D

  • does anyone know why

    Franz Vonlichten

    died

  • If my father and I would have finally recorded together before he passed away, it would have sounded alot like this particular song.....beautiful.....

  • @ditroiamusic sorry for your loss

  • @sdcharger216 Thank you. That's very nice of you! He was a phenomenal musician and a huge influence on my music.

  • I feel like this comes out in a movie or something...anybody know?

  • @monkeymania272 it couldve been in a movie. idk. but E.S. Pothsumus writes music to feel cinematic. so all of their songs make you feel like you watching a movie without the visuals. their honestly true geniuses in my mind

  • @monkeymania272 They're making soundtrack music also, so its possible ;)

  • Where did you buy the CD? I want to buy it but no place has it but like amazon and itunes. I want a hard copy CD.

  • @Twilight3579 Try cdbaby .com, they sell the cd version for $15.98.

  • @Twilight3579 Your username is Twilight. If it is a reference to the time of day, good going. If not, please consider yourself on worthy of such epicness.

  • BEAUTIFUL SONG.. ESP TOO EPIC!!!!!!!!

  • :45 to :58 just wrecks me, it's so incredible!

  • reminds me of ff7 costa del sol music for some reason.

  • Must...add...to...playlist... O.o

SO EPIC! Thanks for posting these! I love being able to play them over and over while I'm writing! So much inspiration from these tunes!

  • Two Steps from Hell and E.S Posthumus make the single most epic music ever

  • 'sighs' time to close my eyes and fly ^-^

  • I love the part where it's awesome.

You know, from 0:00 to 4:00.

  • This reminds me of going down a field of flowers with my best friend going toi heaven or paradise and likey turning into wolves

this would be awesome for wolf's rain

  • excellent.

  • this song makes me want to hold someone's hand and run through fields of flowers

  • Nobody dislikes this... GOOD!

  • shivers down my spine.

  • beautiful harmonies

  • i love the piano part...

  • WOW! This is awesome. And so pretty!

  • ...This song reminds me too much of Trinity Blood for some reason...

  • This is easily my favourite track of their latest album. Makes me feel like the hero in an Aladdin movie, soaring through the clouds on my magic carpet ride.

  • reminds me of Kristen Stewart and her on screen sweetheart, the movie used similar eery but nice songs

  • Thank you so much for uploading such majestic music. I feel much better now.

  • this music reminds me a little bit of taylor swift and marilyn manson

  • i like it so beautiful !

  • Around 2:38 it feels like I am flying above the clouds and into the sky....

  • Its a beautiful song indeed, my favorite.

  • This music has the power to inspire! Let's do what we can to spread the word about this album so more people can be inspired and helped by it!

  • Reminds me of Age Of Mythology gameplay music..

  • I'm the OP from the rainymood thread that ended a few mins ago. Thank you so much for creating this playlist.

  • You're welcome, it was a really good thread, and i felt this song would complement it nicely.

  • For some reason I feel a sense of nostalgia with this song. I can imagine an older woman remembering the times she spent with her mother as a child. The two running through the flower fields together, flicking flour at each other in the kitchen, the mother reading to the daughter a bedtime story. And at the end, the percussion rolls, mimicking the flow from her memories to reality. This song presents a nostalgic and dreamy feelings that's hard to find now a days in music.

  • @MistressZelda your comments are just incredibly inspiring!

  • @MistressZelda No offense, but when I read your comment, my first thought was "What a load of crap." Good song though

  • @DMcI123 I'm afraid there was some offense taken, my friend! Not all thoughts should be vocalized! You can always just thumb my comment down, that works just as well. ^^ Glad you enjoyed this wonderful song. =D

  • @MistressZelda : Very nice interpretation! I think this music is based on such key which makes us to remember some thing.

  • @MistressZelda Kinda, I sense something MUCH DARKER. Like a Man Dying......& He NEVER Accomplished His Dreams !

  • @MistressZelda This song reminds me of the game Lost Odyssey, I feel it would fit perfectly in there which is saying alot because the music in there is composed by the great Nobuo Uematsu.

  • @kyo1546 It sounds like someone's recalled a memory locked deep within their heart...

  • @jabasker ...I see what you did there lol. Well played good sir/madam. You've earned my respect.

  • its so beautiful.... i cant even describe how....love it...

  • Honestly to me it seems like the first album was a mix between their big momentum filled tracks along with the soothing ease filled tracks. While the second album was more of the ease and mellow. This new one brings all about the EPIC. I can't stop listening to this album it is amazing.

  • perfect...

  • This one is up there with Nara, brings out deep emotions. Thanks E.S. Posthumus!

  • I remember hearing this song used in a movie or film clip, but I cannot remember what it was. Can you help me out here? It's driving me nuts. I specifically remember the section starting at 0:57

  • If you have already read my posts on the other Makara songs, you'd probably know what I mean. Anyway, in the end of my series, The Dream World, this song would be played after the evil is finally all destroyed.

  • Man i had a big headache, but when i listened to this it went away. Thank you E.S. Posthumus

  • I'm so confused...why are people complaining about the new album not having enough slow-paced pieces? It was my understanding that ESP was known for its adrenalin packed masculine songs...like Kalki, Kuvera, and Vishnu from this album, Arise & Unstoppable from the previous singles, Pompeii and Ebla from unearthed.

  • Yeah, they are awesome, but we all like isfahan, nara etc.

  • Comment removed

  • dont worry about, people will always find away to complain

  • I love this track, I wanna see this in a movie.

  • This song reminds me of the old version of Pride & Prejudice and all of it's beautiful country sides with the horses and open fields...
