Great video! I just bought a GoPro Motorsports Wide and can't wait to try it out on my shifter kart. How has the battery life been for you? I have heard that is the only real drawback to these cameras.

Get the lithium batteries. I was messing around with the alkaline and I was changing them every two hours. My first set of lithium batteries lasted several 2 hour trips.

Also - the one nice thing about the batteries is that you can keep spares. Sure, you have to buy them but when you're out on the river you can carry spares.

Thanks for posting this. That was a great race and though you guys are way faster than me, I would have been pretty nervous to have been in your boat. It's nice to see the race from the front end of the pack. See you next year
