I really wouldn't consider this scenario paintball, you all have giant hoppers on those markers! Play with tac-caps, and clip fed markers, thats real scenario play.

@KaspirPB Take it in proportion. With an M16a4 you can hit a guy with the first shot at 300+ meters. With a standard paintball, it'll take one shot for a guy at 10 feet... so playing with a magazine roughly the same size as the M16? How's that practical?

some paintball marker may not be realistic, but mine is. mines an Sp-8 by smart parts. (modelled after the xm-8). I got a free helmet (interesting story) and I went to a surplus store to buy legitimate american ACU. I'll tell u, its pretty realistic.

i dont get why people have airsoft vs. paintball

i play airsoft and I love it. I cant necessarily tell you why i love it I just do. but one thing that people always point out is unrealism of pb guns. Yeah real guns dont have hoppers or C02 tanks but airsoft guns used to have a hpa tank attached but they have evolved. Also the tactics. The tactics is up to the player, it happens that tactical players often play airsoft.

This is why your wrong: pb guns and airsoft are equally unrealistic. u know why? cause neither use gunpowder. the only thing thats more real about airsoft is the mechanisms like pump action. pb is more real tho cause a) it hurts more and b) its louder. u can barely hear airsoft bullets, unless the people are fairly close). also, plenty of tactical people play paintball. The two are just different. Paintballers wouldn't do to well in airsoft, and vice versa. i dont have anything against either

well the look of airsoft guns its more realistic. I know a lot of paintballers that transitioned into airsoft and the best player I know used to be a sponsored paintball player. But if either gun were to use gunpowder then it would probably be lethal.

Just get a gun for around 100$ & play. for the launchers there are tutorials to build ones for around 100$ get some camo, make a ghillie suit(optional) backpack & good ol paint(most expensive part)&air and go. the rich kids get the other stuff.
