One of the best rory songs and that says a lot. i have wery many cds and dvds of my gratest hero and the nexth for mee to check out is the book Riding shotgun with rory by Gerry mcavoy. i im not old enough "sadly" too seen rory live but back in my hometown Bremanger in Norway i Was happy too see Gerry mcawoy in nine below zero and that was a thrill. Also cover by Tony Dowler is much appreciated especcially Crow flies.

I still remember when i was very young, i had just gotten very exited about guitar because of a stevie ray vaughan concert live at austin, texas that my old man showd me.one of the best ever. THEN one day i found this gig while watching random videos that has been recorded vhs. that day changed my life. it's all about the tone. Peace

I was at this show , I was stationed over there '76-'78 and the same day his tickets went on sale at the box office they put Frank Zappa tickets up when I was three people from the window . I ended up with 7th row for Rory and 2nd row for Frank ! This was an incredible show and Frank used the basic tracks of his show for the Sheik yer Bouti allbum .

I attended this concert at the Hammersmith Odeon and earlier that year was fortunate enough meet the man after a gig at the Marquee Club in London. His kind personality, sense of honour and decency equalled his guitar virtuosity. Sadly missed. God Bless you Rory

Great! I was at this concert! There has been nothing like Rory since, although I get the same 'kick' at Joe Bonamassa concerts. It was a crying shame how Rory deteriorated until his untimely death. I hope JoeB keeps his head screwed on and doesn't turn to the demon drink.
