I've owned XT720 and moto never roll out update to froyo, I'm STUCK never being able to install my apps to SD card.
I own milestone 2 / droid 2, motoblur stops me from doing many customizations, and it slows down phone. I'm STUCK again.
Motorola, I buy your stuff because hardware is durable, but I'll stop because your software is weak and forced upon me. And your support is anything but support.
i don't understand why people complaint about motoblur.. im using this phone with motoblur and its very easy and very convenient to see updates from all of my social networking instantly.. can someone tell my why this is not good?
just went on the motorola forums and it says 2.1 currently bring tested. Shouldnt they have been doing that all along?! First they say Q2, then they say July, Now im hearing August?! Im getting sick of this already, last Moto phone i EVER get.
Yeah, Moto needs to hurry up with the 2.1 update, its June already. And you couldn't have been waiting for 2.1 for 7 months, Android 2.1 only came out in like Feb-March, so more like 4 months. Cliq isn't a bad phone for my 1st Android, but my next Android will not have a custom UI on top of Android, I'll make sure of that. I want my updates quicker than this. But it won't be a problem anymore because Google has said they are slowing down updates, to probably once a year, maybe twice anyway
Motorola isnt really doing a good job at redeeming themselves as a "user friendly" service...this is just a fail that ended up making them even lower on the chain or what not of phone manufacturers.

All very well but as what is being said below Motorola really need to start honouring existing customer commitments. Why can't Motorola concentrate their development resources in getting the Cliq/Dext etc OS versions up to 2.x? Not happy guys and this glitzy video with a VP rabbitting on about how cool MotoSchmur is just serves to p*ss me off all the more. Am seriously considering ditching my Motorola phone and jumping ship to a another manufacturers 2.x device. It'll be worth the money.
when is the UK Dext going to be updated above 1.5 it a joke that claim decent sociable device but the new Official twitter app requires version 1.6 and above , considering alot devices are on 2.1+ now seems like wasted my money on a crap unsuported device .
too make things worse MotoBlur is not accesible so unable to use my phone as keeps asking me to login can only make emergency calls , please sort this out asap or the dext going be a paper weight
my house has wifi , does this phone have wifi capabilities so that i could connect it to the wifi and browse the internet and stuff ?
