Achtung Baby, according to Bill Flanagan, is a loose sort of concept album, where a fella leaves his wife, maybe his family, to seek out the pleasures of night life. by the moment Ultraviolet is played, he has returned to his wife. Acrobat shows him asking himself how he can "talk like this and act like that", and Love Is Blindness seems to say that "the knot is slipping", and maybe the lovers are concealing their new reservations.

U2's best song, have said it for years. Achtung Baby is their best album and every song stands on its own and is brilliant but they actually fit together also. This one was a notch above Acrobat, which was a notch above Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (which I slayed in karaoke, wow is that one a hard song to sing).
