I don't care who you are Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Smiths, The Cure, and the many others that came about during the early to mid eighties really influenced today's music, granted only by inviting other not so talented bands to cover their work, in a poor fashion that doesn't even show the same meaning as the original artist intended.
