  • I'm not concerned about the vent. I have no doubt that he's got a way to seal that vent if he needs to. I am however concerned about the lack of security. It's not very discreet.

  • so much white

  • very nice grave if it hits any where near.

  • The Fallout aint got shit on you

  • Great product, and good video. I wouldnt mind having one of these myself.

  • you gotta bury it and it should be ok

  • Holy crap that is some sloppy electrical work. What is the point of a fallout shelter that doesn't protect you from nuclear, biological or chemical threats?

  • Buffalo Bill would have loved this!

  • Its that dude from family guy

  • lol Wing nuts

  • In 2012. What if you survive the initial blast but a few days later nuclear gases start to breach the foundation. Will customer service come out to do the repairs? Better yet will customer service answer the phones? Is there a return policy if nothing happens? Lol. I will stick with my gas mask, nuclear suit, bullet proof vest, Glock 30 sf, assault rifle, hand made samurai sword, and my 60 day supply of dehydrated food, water, and bible. We will see what happens.

  • personally i'd rather be killed in a nuclear blast than slowly starve to death or slowly die of radiation poisoning

  • one more year, well better get started on that shelter

  • Its not "full proof" but its damn good !!

  • 0:37 how the hell did these rednecks make this there in the middle of bumfuck no where!

  • He said it goes underground dumbasses

  • Are there any radroaches running around here?

  • I hate it when trees and cars fall on my shelter

  • STOP SAYING "The Shelter"!! lol

  • This thing has so many fails...

  • @Mred2095 ... Not that one ... Its not thé best one ... Go see TrYaBuRRito987 one :D

  • sounds like that gay dude off family guy

  • Call me crazy but, I do believe this would offer better protection if placed into the ground

  • lmfao a full size bath and shower using over 100 litres of water a day. personally id rather drink that water and stay alive longer, thought that was the idea of a bunker or shelter. i got two words for u....wet wipes

  • This is an awesome setup but I'm curious that, after 30 years of fallout do you have another 40 or so containers for food storage?

  • Ok, you said your air comes from outside. What about radiation??? Seems to me some kind of high dollar air system would be needed to stay truly safe.

  • A walk in closet..

  • Yes an escape hatch cuz you would have time to undo all the bolts. And are you guys for real? You sell these?

  • An escape hatch? ahahaha.

Most Americans are so fat they wouldn't fit through that. :p

  • how much did this cost

  • i would prefer a military one with an armory

  • 4:04

  • Comment removed

  • 400 lbs if thermite outta do it

  • But will it blend?

  • this "shelter" is shit.

  • the escape hatch is bolted shut and filled in with sand. so when you open the hatch it cracks your face open and dumps 300 pounds of sand on top of you. perfect.

  • You could just re-enforce your single wide trailers, and put them under the ground. So its like you still living at home :)

  • Fuck, 2012 coming imma need one of these shelters

  • Thumbs up if you think he pronounces shelter funny!!

  • Yooouuuuu Titannnn these Wingggg Nutttzzz.

  • Dude stop saying shelter!

  • why isnt this underground? if a shock wave hits this its gone... and u gotta undo bolts to get out? how long is that going to take? that vent in the bedroom is fail..

  • There might be a few problems with this shelter, but is alot better than having nothing. So with that said, I give it a thumbs up.

  • Sounds like the guy from family guy! But man, is that cool!

  • Why not just buy one and have it as your house? It would save having to run to the shelter if a tornado or something happened.

  • biggest waste of money ive ever seen

  • This is no way to live. If there were some catastrophic event, your best bet would be to die with the majority. In the event of a nuclear explosion, you'd die from inhaling radioactive particles after you ran out of food or your plumbing backed up and you were forced to flee. In the event of a biological breakout, no shelter would filter the air well enough to protect you from it. Unless you have millions of dollars to build a state of the art mountain shelter in the swiss apls, you're screwed.

  • not spamming just want some views lol check out my progress on my 900sqf shipping container bunker

  • who in the world would spend all the money and effort to get one of these.

and want a VENT that lets outside chemical agents back in. that's so STUPID.

  • no it wont seal you in a tomb, if you are not at ground zero it will protect you just fine. obviously the place is not totally finished building yet.

  • HAHA. This is so fake....

  • @sailingjacobe

    how is this fake...

  • you must be rich to have that nice one

  • That shelter will melt around you encasing you in a steel tomb!!! Congrats! Ignorance is really bliss!!! You need more than 1inch thick steel 5 feet underground to save you and the air ventilation is comical! [Nukes have gone off in the past few days....] "Hey lets get some fresh air in here" HAHA!

  • @drummerjdb

Can we see what you have? I'm sure it must be something really super great with all your comments you made. Unless it takes a direct hit the steel won't melt around you and it will be protected from gamma with the 5 foot of dirt over it. I believe it will also have the filters needed for air in the piping leading out of the ground. It is a very good start for "instant shelter" that can be had quickly.

  • How muxh did this cost!!?!?

  • Is that carpet in the bathroom?

  • there are quite a few problems with this shelter... like the "vent" in the bed room to allow hot air out and cold air in.. it has a sliding cover.. that will not protect this shelter from outside biological or chemical agents. everyone in this shelter would die. That alone is enough for me.. there are many other flaws in this design..

  • @Thingsyoushouldsee I thought that too. I saw the thing, and saw how it just slid open, and led straight to the air outside.. I imagine that since these would cost very much to build, that they would put a little more thought into it.. :/

  • @Thingsyoushouldsee doesnt necessarily have to be a nuclear bomb.

  • @Thingsyoushouldsee .very good point, saw that too when he explains there's a huge gasket on the blast door to seal it but the vents have roof top crap vents with sliding covers ! what a joke !

  • would that keep zombies out?

  • I'd rather die then come out to a world starting with nothing but a gardening kit...

  • OH NOOO!!! They took Zues!

  • 2 questions: 1 is how long did it take to make that? and 2 is how much did it cost?

  • how much do this go for? and is it possible to put them 20feet undeground?

  • @hmpeter,keep fireworks and alcohol to blow door open from inside incase it jams and you need to get out

  • @REmegafan

That sounds like good advice, thank you! ;-)

  • Beautiful Shelter!

The price seems to be very reasonable.

When I build a house one day, I will consider installing a decent equipted shelter.

  • i like the smiley face on the shitter

  • Why did they put in a tv cabinet if a nuke detonates near there won't the emp knock the electrical offline.

  • I need to get me one of these for 2012.

  • Ok so we all know the problem with the air vent in the bedroom lol but when you stick it in the ground and cover it up well its not going to be much of an air vent cos its just dirt looking back at you and if its not getting buryed why put a 8 tone hammer incase a cars on it and put the entrances on the feckin top lol nomatter where you put it your dead id rather take my chances sitting on top of it

  • I wonder just how much radiation fallout shelters block

  • @Thelonesniper101

well these guys are american. I'm betting 100% they didn't make this bunker out of lead.

    So none.

  • @OntDinRS lol

  • Comment removed

  • At the 7:21 mark why would have a non sealed slider vent to let in fresh air? If there was nuclear fallout and you opened this on a windy day guess what, there would be nuclear fallout in your fallout safe shelter. You might want to rethink a few of your designs and get rid of a few things like this.

  • Why didn't you just take this money and build you a nice house?

  • @lostindiancamp

because they already have one.. or three..

  • how do you contact the outside world ?

  • a nuclear fallout bunker with a 2 inch door and a small hole that radiation can get in

  • @joeleelfc2 radiation dose not travel were ever air can travel, as long as the radioactive fallout particles dont enter the shelter, and there is at least one curve in the pipe, you will be completly safe.

  • how do you get one of these lol

  • i take it this would be buried underground?

  • how hard would it have been to bend some 1/2" rigid conduit for the electrical? Looks ridiculous and low quality with flexible mc conduit snaking haphazardly around the interior. Any monkey with a pipe bender could make short work of that thing in maybe 2 days and increase the quality of fit and finish substantially.

  • its turbine not turbin

  • OK Bomb bunker and Fallout shelter is not the same thing, as some of you youtubers don't seem really to know why? I'll try to explain to you:

-Fallout shelter is about to protect you from radioactive fallout

-Bomb bunker is about to protect you from dropping bombs (expecting they're not bunker bombs)

Which is more expensive ? I'd say Bunker because it needs lots of time to do and thousands of liters of concrete.

  • @Deonuek well you don't have to use concrete it may be possible to use Aerogel.

  • @Deonuek Ok so i knew that there was a difference between a fallout shelter and a bomb shelter my question is which would be better to get. I always figured that if u live near a large city thats more likely to be bombed in a nuclear war you would want a bomb shelter but if u lived in the sticks you would want a fallout shelter. Am i correct in beleiving that or are there other factors?

  • did you sell it and if so how much?

  • Um, ya, isnt that thing supposed to be under dirt and concrete though.

  • Looks great !you should have at least 3 feet of dirt between you and the outside world.

  • and if u need to use thee emergency exit if there is a fire...how are u gonna undo the bolts fast enough to get out?

  • @bobguy14 I would not worry about that, when the flames start licking your arse you will open that door quick enough!

  • Anyone count how many times he said shelter? It was getting on my nerves

  • if i saw the bomb coming id get under it lol

  • Why didn't you put it underground?

  • with out a carben air filter your still fucked

  • Zombies always find a way in.

  • put it underground.

  • put it underground

  • This should be in everyone gardens, can't be to careful

  • Problem is most of us cannot afford these. If they financed these things I would purchase one.

  • put it underground then pour concrete depending on where you location is at and if its in a spot where the majority chance your going to get nuked or bombed pour more concrete on it..i have one with 3 feet of concrete on it..well not as big but it has a network of tunnels connecting rooms..but i would loveto have that shelter of yours to...

  • i would really give a kidney or testicle for that unit

  • @jackelope - lets keep this to a firm discussion on the weak points of the design. I also don't like the beds. They need better covers or something. Also a jackelope is a horribly cliche animal to have as a screenname. You probably think you're flying in the face of society with such a biological curiosity but we all know you spend most of your time wanking when you're off your shift at the recycling plant.

  • why would i want nucler contamanated air

  • ...good job, nice work, would love to know how much you have into it...?

  • I'm kind of curios as to how all of us found this horrible shelter. I'm also wondering why they would leave comments open for wankers like us to rip him apart. God dammit I hope this goes viral.

  • you can't take in air from the outside -- either radioactive or suffocating dust from a natural catastrophe -- you have to be able to generate your own air.

  • @1Serval no just need to filter it with a carbon filter. Radioactive fallout is like dust it travels in the air but isnt soluble in air so once something like a carbon filter with a screen small enugh to clean out the particles has done its job the air is fine to breathe. It would also remove dust from disasters.

  • you sure those joints connecting the rooms together are strong enough? If there is earthquakes or even a nuclear blast, there will be a lot of ground disturbance and large shelters like that may crack or break along those areas.

  • @Smokie181 shut up you tool. you know nothing about this shit. go kill yourself

  • @jakealope116 I know nothing?! And listen to this troll thinking he knows everyone and everything....this shelter actually has many flaws! It aint bad but it aint no fallout protection.

Wish you the best in life because with attitude and a mouth like that, you aint going to get far in life.

  • @Smokie181 You're clearly a delusional faggot who goes and tries to start crap on people's videos. You have already failed at life and are unloved and alone.

  • @jakealope116 keep trolllllling! Start crap on videos?? Excuse me...but read my comment again, it was YOU that started talking shit. Fucking hypocrite!

My comment was clearly not a insult and was questioning the integrity of such a build because i've seen a test on other builds which clearly broke along the joints due to the earth shifting and/or shifting weight from above.

You the type of commenter to troll and cuss and diss the other person because you have nothing intelligent to say.

  • @Smokie181 and you're the type who goes to a tittie bar to suck dick you ignorant piece of shit, i'm clearly more intelligent than you, you're a redneck piece of shit go fuck your sister and kill yourself.

  • what happens if rubble falls on top of the hatches? are you trapped forever? what happens when generarator is busted?

maybe you should keep a big drill and circular saws etc.inside

  • how much did this cost???

  • @philiesguy Id imagine at least 400k

  • it has to be underground to do any good

  • @graffixx808 he said it was going to be installed underground...

  • The sand filled escape hatch is a great idea. It remains completely hidden until it is actually needed. I hope it has some kind of locking mechanism to hold it in place while bolts are removed. otherwise, the last bolt might surprise the wrench operator.

  • This is not chem, Bio or nuclear proof. Just an expensive coffin.

  • i really would like to know what made u spend so much time and material on this and wouldnt the FEDs be watching u scratching their heads about u also? there is more in your fall out shelter, u may never use, than there is in the rest of your house and property? i do believe in being prepared and think our GOV is plotting to kill us but over the top but i wish i knew u or where u lived when shit hit the fan.

  • so what happens when it floods and your in that shelter under ground? cool shelter tho

  • @The88drunkredneak its made not to but if it does than your fucked

  • ok guys, let's get out the escape hatch, (opens hatch) (radioactive fallout floods the shelter because the hatch is facing straight up)

  • why the hell does it have air vents leading straight outside in the master bedroom? If theres a nuclear chemical or biological attack you want that place locked tight. Also wheres the air filtration system. This could protect you from like....intruders but thats about it. Also notice that its spelled Shelter. Not CHEWLTER. Furthermore dont call it an NBC shelter. people think its related to the tv station.

  • why the hell does it have air vents leading straight outside in the master bedroom? If theres a nuclear chemical or biological attack you want that place locked tight. Also wheres the air filtration system. This could protect you from like....intruders but thats about it.

  • is it me or is it ironic that there are mobile homes in the background?

  • I bet NBC is making a shit ton of money on suckers like you.

  • you must be rich as fuck

  • make it underground

  • You'll have to dig a big hole and all this to put there.

Then to cover at least half a meter concrete ... Then will be functionally

  • Looks awesome! However, it would be better underground.

  • shouldnt it be underground

  • im sorry but i dont think that will prevent much ?? am i missing something

  • Where is the kitchen?

  • dude that shelters blast door is worthlless all you have to do is use thermite and that dore is gone. if your going to spend that much money at least build a better door and wall.

  • And how much did this cost? You could have accomplished basically the same thing with some surplus shipping containers and a deeper hole. Must be nice to throw good money after bad. Nothing wrong with being preparred but this seems like a waste of money.

  • Tobi with an "I", and an accent over the "I", but sometimes I like to use a heart instead of an accent.

  • WATER HEATER not "hot water heater"

  • Comment removed

  • I know how to get in, turn the generator off and plug the air holes, then they have to come out. No shelter is good unless you include manually operated air pipes that extend away from it so they can be hidden. And it should have light tubes to bring in free light.

  • lets say there was a nuclear esplosion, your gonna cook like a turkey from the immense heat unless you have atleast 5 feat of earth on top of you... proven fact look it up

  • @cszuch25 Actually that depends on how close the shelter is to the point of detonation. I believe this shelter is designed to go underneath the ground so this should not be a problem.

  • Bruce is that you?! If so call Jeff

  • THis thing can be put underground in a cavern.

  • Nice i want one becuse you never know

  • Is the narrorator the gay guy on Family Guy?

  • @solardarkness5 oh nooo!

  • @solardarkness5 HAHAHHAHAHAHAH you mean bruce? ooooohhh noooooo!..sir you gave me quite the laugh

  • @solardarkness5 i knnooowww!

  • @solardarkness5 exactly what I was thinking

  • how much would this shealter cost

  • cant nuclear radiation still get through and you die a slow painful death from radiation poisoning? and how much did this thing cost you, or any one else that can answer. and I think the way he says shelter is funny xD

  • That thing is an eyesore.

I'd honestly rather take the chance of neuclear war than having that in my backyard.

  • @TheDrummerDominic its not complete he said only the white parts wich is not allot will be showing once it is complete meaning burried

  • @TheDrummerDominic it goes underground 6 feet under didn't you watch the video only the white parts are seen above ground

  • Hopefully the Nukes don't explode on top of you, because then the Fallout Shelter will be pretty useless.

  • @Apocalyptikai it's a good 5 feet or more under gournd, sometimes a bomb that big would only penetrtait around 3-4 feet, that and the heavy metal bracing will keep it mostly in tact.

  • @Apocalyptikai ?what do u mean?

  • zombie shelter?

  • id back fill that shelter with concrete and rebar

  • so basically if someone needs to get out of the shelter but they havnt got a spanner they are pretty damn fucked huh

  • I think a direct hit from a nuke could get through that door.

  • one problem.......a nuke would blow that thing over....its supposed to be unserground to avoid the tremendous shock wave.

  • @OfficialGaminStation he said it will be 5 feet underground when installed. LISTEN
