  • It's vtec demonaspet, not vtech, that's the baby toy make. Nice car, its sounds class and looks wicked! Well done!

  • Sounds like clutch goin out

  • That vtec is weak, my completely stock rebuilt b16 on my Si was breaking necks 1/2 a mile away

  • 0:33 W T F IS THAT :D ?

  • Wow! How can i make my 1.5 Vtec Civic sound like this?! Love it man :D

  • I have one of these civics, I don't care what you do to it, they are ugly, boring cars not worthy of thousands in customizing. It also sounds like shit. My 98 civic with the vtech engine I swapped in sits alone, unloved, because a 2010 stock Corolla is nicer, safer, and more reliable than this generation of butt ugly Hondas.

  • @Demonaspet then stick to your 2010 stock Corolla since its so nicer and safer. No one cares what you think.

  • i didnt hear shit

  • ghjkgcvjbhkl';khjyugjkl......Sorry rubbing the JIZZ of my keyboard

  • is that grill and front from EK9?

  • Comment removed

  • men with small penises...

  • your vtec sounds slowwwwwww

  • Thats not an EK9

  • Thats no EK9

    Thats an EJ6

  • Sounds pretty much stock to me, except for intake and exhaust. This is not an amazing vtec sound, this is just vtec and not so loud.

  • your car sounds stock to me homie.. Idk about your "amazing" Vtec sound..

Type in Sickest VTEC sound ever on youtube, thats an AMAZING Vtec sound..

    FWD_FTW

  • have the same radio höhö:D

  • no there isnt b16c my mistake lol was thinking b18c

  • @DEZY4LYF never heard of a b16c before...that must be some new old shit......smh

  • @DEZY4LYF was thinking b18c

  • no there isnt b18c my mistake lol

  • did you sell yer steering wheel cus it doesnt have ek9 one?

  • this not ek9,this is only ek4 men ;)

  • What, this car sounds shit like.

  • This thing has a proper "VTEC just kicked in yo" -sound :)

  • Nice sound

  • how bout everyone shuts the fuck up, you put a jdm lip kit on a fucking canadian civic, its jdm, put a jdm motor in, its jdm, that jdm motor is the heart of the car, 1 jdm part on your car makes it jdm, jdm is jdm no matter what!

  • @PANT3N3 WRONG! unless its been imported from japan then its not truely a jdm car. but if you want the jdm LOOK then go for it.

  • gives me goosebumps just hearing it on here :D

Defo ear to ear smile when you hear that rumble under your ass :)

  • Fat 5's -_-

  • ROFL, ek9??

Sorry but i own an ek9 and they are only avaialbe in rhd, yours is a ej6 and not JDM at all. . .

  • yea sounded good but it didnt pull as hard as it should of... g/l wit the b20 build

  • @Eksirrob It didn't because it's a b18c si-g. Even though it isn't a Type R spec, it should still pull hard but not as hard otherwise.

  • Sound is nice, but since when is JDM Left hand drive????

  • @oifovo Yes, but in this case, he refers to the engine that is JDM!

  • @oifovo So just because its a lefty it cant be a JDM? Lol dude...

  • @daanneeeeee Yes, that's correct. The engine may be JDM, but the car can't, unless you have changed it from RHD to LHD. There's not such a thing as JDM left hand drive car, why would they do it???

  • @daanneeeeee Plus, this is not an EK9!

    1) EK9 was rhd ONLY

    2) This is not EK9 steering wheel, this is the same one I have in my EK3

    3) The dash is not EK9 either, EK9 dashboard is made of carbon fibre, check any REAL EK9 on youtube...

So, this is a nice EJ9, EK3 or EK4 civic with an engine conversion, surely very fast but it is not JDM or EK9

  • @oifovo JDM is a "look", why cant a left steered cars be JDM then? I know what it means, and if you tune a japaneese car with japaneese parts it will become a JDM?

  • @daanneeeeee No, JDM stands for ''Japanese Domestic Market'', in other words any JDM car was only available in Japan and as such would always be right hand drive...

  • @zofcz Yep, i know that. We have left steered Hondas in Sweden, and as far as i know Honda is japaneese, so why can't an original left steered Honda be a JDM?

If you look up more of the meaning of JDM it's for example Honda owners in USA who bought parts from the Japanese market and mounted on the car, so I really can't understand why the steering is so important when you have the same emblem in the front!

  • @daanneeeeee the ONLY way to acquire JDM car is to buy one - import it - directly from Japan. Honda and some other Japanese manufacturers keep the best for their own market, so for example EK9 as the first ever Civic Type-R was ONLY available in Japan, not Europe or USA. So, EK9 is JDM car. Now, you can put an EK9 engine into lets say EK3 chassis, but that doesn't mean you have a JDM car now. The one and ONLY way to get a JDM car is to get it from Japan, full stop.

  • @daanneeeeee To your remark regarding USA owners upgrading their Hondas using japanese parts - this is very often referred to as ''JDM styling'', which means that they try to upgrade their cars to the level standard JDM car was. But that again does not make such a car a JDM car, JDM simply means - Available to Japanese Only.... On top of that, turning an EK3 into EK9-like-car is going to be more expensive than importing a genuine EK9 directly from Japan, it's not just different engine & gearbox.

  • @oifovo Ah okey! That's a bit further then i knew about JDM. What about other cars like Nissan 200sx s13? I've got one, and it's the same engine as the japanese model... the only difference is the left steering and the name...?

  • @daanneeeeee Well, I don't know much about Nissan, but if it was bought as new in Europe and was originally left hand drive then it is not JDM.

  • @oifovo Sorry... but that just sounds like an "image-thing". It's like saying you can't own a JDM-car (since when does anyone say JDM-car btw), because you dont live in Japan... We have JDM forums here in sweden, and ofcourse alot of really fat JDM tuned cars!

  • @daanneeeeee First, I have never said you that you can't own JDM car if you don't live in Japan - there are many of them in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and other countries that use RHD cars, and not so many in other countries. You still don't seem to understand what JDM means tho, as I said, JDM means that that PARTICULAR mode was available in Japan only. So, you could have bought EJ9 (1.4) EK3 (1.5 SOHC VTEC) and EK4 (1.6 DOHC VTEC) Civics in Europe, therefore these are not JDM.

  • @oifovo ye seem to know yer stuff

    and ek9 has a b16 but is it b16 a , b ,c ?

    and ek4 has a b16 but is it b16 a,b,c?

  • @DEZY4LYF

    EK9 - B16B, EK4 - B16A2, btw, what's B16C???I'm not sure that exists at all...

  • @daanneeeee EK9 (1.6 DOHC VTEC) however was only available in Japan, so it is JDM. I know these cars look similar, but the EK9 engine is not the same as the one in EK4, it uses different block (the one from Integra Type-R) and other stuff (transmission, bodykit, interior) is different too. So the only way to get EK9 Civic is to go to Japan and import it or buy it from someone who has done so. Again, this is the ONLY way to get JDM car. Maybe someone else can explain it better, I've tried my best

  • @oifovo I got it the first time already. What i wrote was a comparison, i know you did not say that... If you tune a USDM (nissan, honda, mazda) with JDM parts you'll get a JDM-tuned car... and that is what we do here. So it's wrong to say that USDM tuned JDM cars arn't JDM at all!

  • @daanneeeeee No, it is not wrong to say that, simply because they aren't, no matter how hard you try. Yes, I know you can make a JDM-like car, you can even make it better, but JDM is only the original, anything else is just a ''JDM wanabee''... I see your point, but people just don't use the term JDM the way its meant to be used and that causes a lot of confusion, that's all.

  • sick sound man 5* what intake are you using ?

  • Stock intake with a cold air... Yesterday i removed the b18c base and put a b20b base with new type r cams... can't wait to try it!

  • Comment removed

  • i'm sure it'll sound nasty. post a vid of it soon!

  • @ek9jdmgsr get another vid wen u do

  • @ek9jdmgsr b18c = ITR motor....................duno if I wouldve switched the 1.8 R Block to a b20 theres no oil squirters or gurdle but either way the motor will make great power it you build it right, R motor jus more reliable and its an R motor :)
