I was privelliged to see her perform the Sibelius viloin concerto a few weeks ago. I was at the back of the hall & couldn't see how beautiful she was, but I could hear her beauty. The performance moved me to tears. I pray that one day I will see her perform this greates of all concertos one day.

I think she is the most expressive, elegant violinist of our time. While I have several that I love, Ms. Jansen is in the top group along with Hilary Hahn and Leila Josefowicz. I love them all and refuse to pick a favorite. But in any case, Ms. Jansen is just exquisite! Her Mendelssohn Violin Concerto is absolutely the best I have ever heard!

she does a great rendition of this concerto! tchaikovsky's violin concerto in d is one of my favorite violin concertos because it gives the violinist to show their talent. :-) jansen has proven that. maybe i should give her another chance. :-)
