@pinkglamgrrl The venom of a hornet is far less than a rattlesnake. I've been stung by hornets, much like the guy in this vid, it causes some minor swelling and pain for a few hours. A rattlesnake on the other hand can cause severe effects that may result in amputation or death.

was stung by hornet 4 days ago, eyes still swollen, cannot keep anything I eat down, also stung on breast ( it is better ) but, my eyes seem to be getting worse. Should have gone to DR the day I was stung, have to break down and go today; eyes are in constant pain, have not slept, vision is blurred, rt. eye is the worst. Even tho most of the swelling has gone down, I feel worse each day. Hornets are evil creatures, demons in my opinion. Cannot go thru another nite or day of this.

Because they made a nest in the outside roof and found a way in through one of the walls. As for not using hairspray and a lighter I didn't want to burn my fucking house down. Plus the vacuum got them pretty good as there was a pretty large swarm.
