Dag I miss the days when we had POSITIVE music like this in our lives being played on the radio. Love this song's message, and the beat goes hard too.
I've been having a really hard time, I've been homeless lately, my family gave up on me, and it seems like this song is the only thing that has gotten me through. Thanks for posting it
I remember when NEW YORK UNDERCOVER played this version on 1 of their episodes.I loved this ever since but could never find it,we need more of this type of music especially 2day,GREAT POST.Does'nt hurt that it's dat 90s flava at all.

I love this song, everything about it is on point. It has a great positive message,i recently lost a close relative. This song has been like a ointment for me.Thanks for posting this song.
love this song. if i had a 2TB Hard drive. this would be one of the songs i would put on there! what a song! what a message! So relevant in these tough times.
My old gospel choir director Mr. Jimmy Wright was singing lead on this!! He taught me everything! He is the guy singing the big "OOh, Oh OOh!! " and second verse..I love this dude!
@tmac8505 YES! He was my Gospel choir director at UW-Whitewater. He drove every week from his hometown in Rockford, Il....to teach us new songs...he also introduced us to his mother, who is a great singer also. It was during his tenure as our gospel choir director that he got discovered by the sounds of blackness...miss him
My God this is beautiful, meaningful, relevant music, brings me to tears when I hear it, I can so very much relate to the lyrics, a timeless 90's masterpiece...
I grew up listening to this song. Always loved it and will always stay in my heart. No matter how old I get.

This was one of my fave albums that year (and until my tape popped)!
P.S. Yup, that brother was giving us his Uncle Charlie vibe, esp. with that "ooh" riff & grit :)
