There is a TV channel in the UK called SoccerAM Allsports show and they did a little feature about this advert before the Superbowl. They recreated to how it might look and was infact a lot better than this advert. Only thing I think which is better is the closing tag line!

It is great to view the extended version of this comercial, however even thought it retains the concept of saying goodbye, I would agree with many that it has lost the original comedy that really appealed from the pitch Gino put to us.

I guess this is what a big time director thinks was the better - all of us know the pitch really was far more appealing!

Exactly. The original pitch was better. Some of the elements in the final movie are good too, but Gino's was a lot stronger. But hey, the NFL has made their movie and for a lot less money than an ad campaign. I hope Gino got some good tickets.
