No offense guys, but this mantra was not created to listen to while you are tripping on LSD to hallucinate. It is an outcome of trust, loyalty and love of Hindus to the Gods and is an intellectual piece written over 4000 year back in the mother of all languages. This has a far more deeper meaning and motive than we can imagine today. Again no offense.Use it for meditation or recite it to purify your soul instead.
I am from India and if you guys ever get a chance to go to India then do visit the aarti that happens on the banks of river ganges in Rishikesh...it happens every evening and has been happening for the last many centuries. You feel the true high in life at that moment.
@TheAmit1102 Just came back from Char Dham yatra, also made a stop at Rishikesh for the evening aarti to Ganga. We were sitting to the left of the Clock Tower, so pretty much right in front of the aarti. Beautiful, meaningful, powerful. It was just a weekday evening, nothing special. But there were 200,000 people easily. Amazing, moving experience!

I listened to this entire album in the Mojave desert in Nevada, and this song was the most transcendental! I was on LSD and mushrooms, and this music seemed as if it was composed for the exact moment I was in at the time. Watching the sunset into the red desert sand in the Valley of Fire state park was the most trasncendent experience ever! Thanks so much for posting this on the web!
@kearyjones i agree the music and prayer is good but if you keep using the drugs you may lose the ability to meditate and grow spiritually which is what this is for. i gave up alcohol and meat, I challenge you to do likewize. if you do you will outperform the growth of all the spirituality in the Western world with these prayers. theyuha.blogspot.com
The most beautiful and inspiring spiritual song not only in the chants and the music but the lyrics :
... please lead me from the unreal to
the real. Lead me from darkness to light
(i.e. from ignorance to knowledge).
Lead me from death to immortality.
May there be peace ...
Piece of art. I am enchanted and deeply touched.
Thank you!
