Angel Ultra ... You're So Strange ... Helter Skelter ... good times @ Under the Pier in Redondo Beach. Those were amazing days. When I watched the movie "That Thing You Do" I relived the first time they played The Zippers on KROQ! That was one of the days that defined my life during that time. Love you guys, remember you all fondly and would drive for days to see you play again!
This was one of four 45s issued by Back Door Man Records (a spin-off of the now- legendary fanzine). The first two were by the Pop! and the fourth was a posthumous effort by the Imperial Dogs. (Zippers drummer Bill Willett -- pictured second from left -- was previously the drummer for the Imperial Dogs.)
