How can you run (analog stick) and navigate (arrows) at the same time?

I use my thumb for analog stick and index finger for arrows

Yeah i do the analog stick with my thumb too.. but if you use the fingers of your left hand for the arrows doesn't that put your hand into a really wierd uncomfortable position?

you get used to it. don't need to keep your index finger on the d-pad all the time.
