You do realize that this is Sonic Mayhem, and Nine Inch Nails did the music in the original Quake right?
You are right about id's music though, most of the good music in the old Doom games was a "rip-off" of bands like Pantera, Slayer, AC/DC, Metallica, Alice in Chains and maybe a few others. I hate to use the word rip-off, more like paying homage. But these days, and pretty much since Quake, they hire people that aren't really part of id to do the music.
when the zombie attack comes, the quake 2 soundtrack will be blasting from my radio when shit gets hectic.
