  • antha ksheera saagarathukku nammalaiyum koodave koottndu poraamathiri irukku. yesudass sir, You are A Blessed Soul Indeed. subbu rathinam

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL-KELKKAN KAZHINJATHU JANMAPUNYAM-THANKS

  • The flood of music!!! It's inimitable....it's incomparable...!!! Dasettan is our pride!!!

  • Simply divine, and he is really blessed.

  • I am amazed at the sweetness at which Dasettan renders the song. Telugu sure gets very sweet, sweeter than before when he sings this Thyagaraja Keethana. No words to say . Excellent!

  • I think it s Mavelikara Krishnan Kutti Nair on the Mridangam?!?

  • thank you for posting this I remember when I was a kid about 22/23yrs ago He sang this song in Mysore palace. The whole audience was pin drop silence. Ever since this has become my favorite and memories remain going with my mom to all the concerts.

  • Yes Telugu gets sweeter....Play this and sleep to understand what is mean by பாற்கடலின் தாலாட்டு (Paarkadalin thaalaattu)...

  • It is one of my favourite classical keerthanas by Sri. KJY. I started liking Carnatic songs after hearing Sri. KJY. He has converted many normal music lovers to Carnatic music lovers and heighted the standard. A great person indeed. May Lord Almighty give him very long life with full health to perform more & more of this divine art. Regards, C C Ramachandran Nambiar

  • What right do I have to rate such a great singer? May god give him long life and me some 1000th part of his skill in coming life.

  • excellent

  • my gooddddd....who did those 3 dislikes on this heavenly performance...??

  • Telugu is sweeter in Jesudas voice.. his voice is divine..Expecting Bharat Ratna to him..

  • Thanks SRN1000

  • LOVELY :) - It's the combination of the Great Tyagaraja, The wonderful telugu dialect and the silk voice and mastery of Shri Yesudas. It's a miracle...i have tears in my eyes ...wah!!!

  • LOVELY :)

  • I like this song very well

  • If only his diction matched his voice and he could sign Carnatic music like Carnatic music and not like a movie song how wonderful would that be

  • @sri086059 - Padmabhushan Yesudas has sung more carnatic music than film songs and composed carnatic music also. If he sings a carnatic song in a certain way, then that is the way to sing it. You and I are not worthy judges.

  • @sujaysukumar123 Well said ! Thank you

  • Heavenly feel !!!

  • one and the only yesudas can sing in such an enjoyable way.

  • gandharva has incarnated as Yesudas........

  • Jesu Das voice is blissful.. he speaks telugu words with great divine touch..

    Telugu's adore Jesudas

  • EM VOICE AYYA NAAYANA...OLLU PULAKARINCHATAMEE <3 HE IS THE TRUE LEGEND

  • @enigma533

Looks like Telugu but some uncommon dialect of it. Can you confirm which dialect/language this is?

  • @srkris Real telugu dialect .

  • @enigma533

Looks like Telugu but some uncommon dialect of it. Can you confirm which dialect/language this is? I am asking about your comment and not about the song

  • I like Deva gaandhari raagam ... Thaalam Aadi... thanx for posting this great composition by Shri Thyaaga raaja Swaamikal... Priya maanasa ne va va..... deva gaandhaari....

  • Thanks for posting such a fantastic video.

We are fortunate to listen to his songs.

    Thyagaraja songs na Yesudas thaan!!!

  • Just fantastic! Welcome to my country Poland!!!

  • @HATHI01 Do you listen to Carnatic Music?

  • A fine tune singer, and the rage devagandari suits his tone and altogether composition cannot be compared.

  • waw!

  • sooper pakkavadyam!

  • @syamanand

The accompanists are more experienced than the singer - TN Krishnan on violin and Mavelikkara Krishnankutty Nair on mridangam.

Amazing you could appreciate the things people rarely care to appreciate.

  • when listening to this keerthnam getting full +ve energy

  • good man gods worker,

  • I am gifted to be born in this era of Sri.K.J.Yesudas. Let the Almighty shower him Aayurarogya soughyam. Sandeep

  • What more does one want in life other than this gifted voice? Long live Dr. KJY

  • When I listen to this keertana, my body gets goose bumps. It is a pleasure to listen to him .....

    He is the BEST ....

  • @rbramaswamy

Goose bumps for this itself? Have you listened to the version by Chembai from the album titled Gurusmarana?

  • tyagaraja is great....

  • Amazing... Amazing.. Amazing.. Thanks a lot SRN1000 for posting this.. :-)

  • Thank you SRN for uploading this wonderful keerthanam. I am not qualified to comment on this great performance. I can only say it gave immense pleasure to listen. No, not exactly - I was not only listening, but the music entered through every pore of me also and entered in my heart and filled with overwhelming joy! This must be bliss!!!

  • gr888888

  • Marvelous .. 10 out of 10... perfect compilation by Dr. Yesudas....

  • Ksheerasagarasayana...Sri Padmanabha...!! this is one of my favorite keerthanam...Both the versions [by Sri Chembai and Sri Yesudas] are simply superb... :)

  • melodious song

  • melodious song

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • Should listen to the collection that has chembai and KJY doing concerts together. one of them (dont remember exactly which on it was) has an excellent competition building up during the manodharmam. In that, you will really see why KJY calls him his guru :)

  • miracle

  • no words to say

  • Viju Menon you said it .... the DIL SE effect can be acheived ony by the MAESTRO ..... YESUDAS

  • There is no comparing KJY with anyone, I personally like this rendition of this song more than anyone else's.

  • Great song and thanks a million for posting...

  • Inimitable Devagandhari sung by the Gana Gandharva. "Taraka naama" is sung in 4 different ways. If you want to know the difference between melody and technique, compare KJY's rendering with his so-called Guru's rendering of the same song, or even with the version sung by the greatest Balamurali Krishna. Both these maestros achieve technical perfection but singing with feeling, dil se is achieved only by Yesudas. That is why we call him the Gandharva.

  • His voice itself contains some melting formula!

  • Tension remover song! It is melting the heart. Just great!

  • Awesome. No words to praise him. Just wonderful. thank you so much for posting.
