@lookin4talentt Like anything in life, you have to work at it. If you practice regular you can play these chord based songs within a few weeks, ofc not as good as the above video. BUT and it's a big BIG but, you have to want to do it, and not force yourself to, you have to WANT to. That's when you get as good as this. There is no "How many years will it take" In any great music whether it's your own or a cover, you have to have feeling in it otherwise it sounds forced and flat. Good Luck.

the chord is a "suspensed" chord of the chord C major.if u look i am playing the 3rd frets on both the high E&B strings.these notes are a G&D(D on the B string).this makes the chord become a C sus 2nd chord.and the reason for this is because D is the 2nd note in the scale of C major&hence u are adding it in2 the chord of C which wud normally b the notes C, E&G.so the E now becomes a D&this is how u get a C sus 2 chord.

@IvorBigg1 hey man.u are correct yes.u see D is the 2nd note in the C major scale but obviously if u continue past the next C it would be the 9th..i personally call it a suspended 2nd chord becos of where it is in the scale but u are also correct.if u wanted u cud say its an added 17th haha.it depends if the D note that is added is at the top or bottom of the scale.if u played C,D&G notes that wud b a Csus2 .if u played C,G,C,D chord for example, i wud classify this as a 9th. hope that helps :-)

However, when it is the 9th note, it's an octave higher, and the D on the B string is an octave higher than the base in the C major scale (D string) so, i'm pretty sure you're right actually, it is Cadd9, simply because of the octave that is used. If that makes any sense haha :)
