I pulled snoop error connecting strip tool, and I initially connect the LED is purple but it is not like in the video flashing and turns green (depending on load) at 10 seconds. You must install the driver snoop strip tool or application is launched only

YOU must have a 32bit version of windows to do this. i tried with win7 x64 and it doesnt work.

How you install the driver?

@nanox221 extract the zip to a folder with whatever the name you want and when you connect the s9 in DFU mode, a wizard should show up and you tell it to install the drivers from that folder where you just have extrcted the zip. A message shows up, you hit ok and look if everything is OK with the strip tool "snoop buttons".

got one from ebay. Not sure if genuine. i cant get it to connect on PC. Snoop says error, not to mention, i cannot get the purple light too.

funny thing is my calls are in stereo. but i cannot activate SRS WOW by holding the fast forward button.

Is it ok if it's connected to the computer and you press and hold the power button?

You should not forget to disconnect the SnoopButtons before upgrading the firmware, otherwise the DFUwizard cannot connect.

I can not get over the function SRS WOW HD.

I hold the>> button nothing happens more.

Hey Mr.! It didn't work to me. When I press "connect " on strip tool an error message shows up. When I try to select usb driver on DFU wizard (bluecasira) show up another error message (something like "USB device not found"). Do you know why? Thank you!

PS: The driver is only for 32bit systems! It won't work in x64 OS.

My s9 stayed in DFU mode

No power and when I connect to the PC automatically goes into DFU mode

To exit DFU mode unplug it in your pc and manually power up your s9.

Thanks a lot, I tested it in Windows 7 ultimate x64 (chose to disable driver signature using F8 just in case)

Took me about 2 minutes and works great.

the only tricky bit is to redirect win 7 to the Motorola usb driver, mine was set at auto downlaod from microsoft only.

Tried under Vista: failed. Fired up my old XP netbook EEEpc 1005ha and presto-work like a charm!! I had 2 S9's: both done with out any hick ups whatsoever.

Work´s fine on win 7 32 Bits, carefull windows 7 automatically installs the driver, need specify the right driver to do it.

Possibility of bricking your s9 is due to Power interruption or moving the unit while flashing etc.

my friend gave me one i guess its the fake one then it only connected once and never worked again..i feel like smashing it to bit and pieces. damn why would any company even make something that dont work their wasting their money and life. just bring down themselves how they gonna make money on garbage. Here are the changes i've encountered.

During on call. you get stereo output. (Orig s9 only mono)

Much clear sound. Sound now is HD.

SRS WOW Sound is now available.
