ya, they ran cat style at the course haha...it took a bit to get use to, very frustrating but, caught on pretty quick....they were all deers, they had a new deere 260 there that had a switch but wouldnt let me switch it due to the fact that most machines on the work force are cat style...Great vids by the way, i enjoy them...i have a vid from the course on my page operating the 120 deere....take care...
shit, those controles are fucked?....shouldnt the bucket open and close on the same side as the outter boom joystick??....i opeate a 2003 john deer 270 LC on a reguler bases.....And the controles are much different....Im going to take a excavator course novembe 8 and i hope they dont have these for controles and i will be screeewed....what type machine is this?
@NickLarsen20 There there two control styles. Deere and Cat.
You run Deere style which operates that. Every other machine (90%) of excavators use cat style that I have shown. I hope they run deeres at your class!
I operate an Hitachi 200 excavator, with a roto-tilt bucket attachment (or claw). I've got regular controls, plus four extra buttons and a trigger on each joystick! You guys should look into it, it's an AWESOME attachment for any machine! Look up: ACE Rotate on youtube for the video.
