Heavenly Sword would make such a great Film/Tv Series/Comic/Book.

I love the world the developers created! It's filled with culture and is one of those settings that you know has to have a deep story to it but never really gets explored. I soo wish they would continue this series somehow.... even if not in video game form :(

awesome, love it. The game's porduction values and storytelling was top notch, but the game dissapointed in the gameplay department because the controls were as polished as say God of War. Nevertheless, the game was great, its a dissapointment that Ninja Theory just said they are done with Heavenly Sword and wont be making a sequel soon.

I like Heavenly Sword much better than God of War and Devil May Cry.

I wonder why people didn't like this game that much. IGN only gave it a 7 out of 10.

lol no buddy, not even close to GoW games. It got 7/10 because it was 1. short 2. lack combat/enemy depth/variety.

Yeah it's true.

But in my opinion, Heavenly Sword has a lot better mechanics in terms of the Combat System; I prefer it over GoW.

Though other than the combat mechanics, graphics, and good voice acting, Heavenly Sword is a VERY mediocre game.

Hon, combat mechanics, graphics, and believing the characters MAKES a game. There's not much else to it. HS is a great game.

Hmmm... There's also a lot of other things to count in.

For example, even though the voice acting is great, doesn't mean the characters are well made or even likable. More importantly, the characters are hard to connect with because I think the script is pretty generic.

Heavenly Sword also has a tendency of being very repetitive when it comes to combat situations, which is a huge downer.

The repetitiveness also applies to the maps and atmosphere in Heavenly Sword. Which is also a negative.

I've never found it as repetitive as you make it seem. I think the only way this game is repetitive is if you are playing it as a button-masher and not mastering the combat mechanics. Once you get into stances and aerial combos I find it really fun and engaging.

This is the best game I've ever played and I can't really agree with you saying that it's repetitive in combat and atmosphere.
