hard to believe its 25 years old..dayum Im getting old! even tho I was a little kid in the 80s I was listenign to music 24/7. This song reminds me of the hair gel dark&lovely lol. One of the worst gels Ive ever used but catchy name
This is just one crazy awesome tune to dance to. The vibe is HAPPENING. The rave "thing" that is busting out is....well.... you all know that you can put your groove on with this jam.
I loved when they played this on Soul Train. Watching people dance off of this going down the Soul Train line is a great memory. They were jammin' I love Stevie.
There's a soul train show with this song in it(not the featured dance line song) as one of the tunes played in general during the show - there's a gal in a red one-piece outfit who the camera falls on who is singing the song out loud as she's dancing. She's bouncing in place, does this olympic-looking arm pose, then she sets herself up, throws a high kick then drops way back down in a backward dip. That whole thing she did was totally UNREAL.
Just absolutely love this song all the way down. This thing is just so way out front it's like a dream come true into real time, waking reality. The vibe is to right on. This is also one simply awesome dance tune.
Yes, this is a classic. It's an anti-apartheid song, just like "It's Wrong" from the "In Square Circle" album. A song with a message you can dance to. Amazing.
Did he say the "sun god is watching too"?

You know, strangely enough, most folks jus don't know this awesome tune even exists! It EASILY could have made the top ten, at LEAST.
