  • Very helpful, thank you!

  • If your dog has ear mites put 1cc of ivermectin in each ear. Massage all around ear an tilt dogs head so the ear is upward. Do this for 6 days. It will kill ear mites. If you want to clean them do the same thing but for one are 2 days.

  • I have a Westie, she always has ear problems, once it was a yeast infection, that cleared up but to maintain I use a solution with the main natural ingredient is tea trea oil, should this be used as a flush? Thank you for any comments very useful video

  • Regularly = various amounts of time for different dogs. As a foster for a cocker spaniel rescue I had some that did fine with once a month & others that needed 3x/week. If you keep seeing brown gunk even after treatment, ask your vet for a culture so they can figure out which bacteria keeps coming back. Also, if you have a cocker or other hairy dog with floppy ears, have the hair around the opening cut really short & the inside of the ear flap shaved down to keep the moisture level down.

  • Is this something that should be done regularly or only when your dog is suffering an ear infection?

  • regulary to prevent ear infection

  • Thank you SRT92! Well said. It is also important to clean your dog's ears after swimming or bathing.

  • sure anytime...i jus wish i had a dog lol
