@Anthony883 If you think these spin a long time, check out the Quark top. I can get mine to spin over 15 minutes. These spin as long as they do because they are made of a uniform material (stainless steel) along with being lathed by computer on a CNC lathe. They also have adequate weight distribution and a low center of gravity. These do spin a long time in comparison to most tops, but they are most definitely real. It also helps that they're spinning on a concave mirror.
forget my comment about the other guy not being legit. He and bluebird28150 are in business together, but kwes5255 will be selling them on ebay. you just have to keep watching, i just bought bluebird's and Travis's and I'm waiting for them to arrive.

I have other tops that can spin 4+ minutes, but they look completely different. I have a video of an aluminum top that I have extras of if you're interested, available in red, green, purple, black, and silver. They're $8 each. Check my video of it spinning.

Even the ones at inceptiontops (dot) com says their top only spins 3 minutes. If you want something close to the movie prop, it won't spin as long. My suggestion is to keep watching ebay until TJ or bluebird28150 start selling again.

I started out with a solid spin at around 3:00, then spun between my palms and can now get 5:00 easily. Well worth the 20 bucks on ebay, even if you aren't a fan of inception.

I've got a Travis top but can barely get it to spin over 3 min. I think I need a better surface. What is that you are spinning it on in your video? A mirror? It almost looks like it's especially made for a spinning top. Where can I buy something like that?
@darkstonecastle It's a concave shaving mirror, 8 inches in diameter. I bought it at Walgreens and removed the frame of the mirror. The black ring with concave mirror on one side and flat mirror on the other is what was left. Alternatively, the mirror that comes with a product called "Euler's Disk" is the same size and also works. It also looks a little nicer. I use that on my desk. I checked Walgreens site and can't find the exact mirror, but another kind might work.

@Raptorman250se I'm not sure how long it takes to ship. I grew up having to wait 6 weeks to order something from a catalog, so I don't notice one day more or less.
@fludunlimited I am certainly impatient with technology. I feel like we should have a colony on the moon, be starting one on Mars, and have flying cars and jetpacks by now. I also think my computer should boot up in under five seconds and everyone should have fiber optic internet connections already.
Thanks for the video ledomira. Very insightful information on both tops. I wanted to observe a showdown between two of the best inception tops on ebay. I'm glad i went with the bluebird one though because I agree with you that it more closely matches the movie and looks a little nicer :).
I'm real glad I found this video. My friend bought Travis Jonaks totem and I bought Bluebirds and I have wanted to know how the two will compare. I am a fan of Bluebirds personally for the same reason you said that it has a more accurate inception shape. How many inception totems do you have?
