And.. to the morons that didn't get the message of the movie. She not only went under the knife to change her appearance, she exercised and she ate right. She 'became' beautiful, when in truth she was always beautiful.. SHE just had to believe it. She also realized that she became a person she didn't know anymore due to her new looks. The point? It doesn't matter if you become what society wants you to be, unless you accept yourself, it's useless.

I really don't exactly know how it is in Korea....but if you watch shows such as American Idol, or Americas next top model....

I have seen the movie and maintain that despite some problems, the moral was "go ahead and get the surgery...your life will improve." But your point is well-taken. I did not mean to imply that Koreans are any more racist, sexist etc. than anyone else. I meant that we all have ugliness, but there is no medical procedure for removing homophobia, and that it is more impressive to correct these inner flaws than what is foolishly mistaken as an outer flaw (single eyelid for example.
