@Mommyshnugs I understand that you can prevent the concequences but I really don't think that is what people are thinking about when they are in the moment. And it is really tough for me I guess from personal experiences because I've had friends give up their babies because they couldn't afford a baby or they were not ready to be a parent only to regred what they did when they were older. I have seen that having to give up a child as a teen because you were not ready is very hard.

I really hate that all these new shows and movies are basically encouraging teens to have sex and children. Too bad so many teens give into media views. It is not the happy endings they show. It is tough really tough especially if you are a teen. I just wish teens would enjoy their youth instead of throwing it all away for a baby like I did. :( I feel so sorry for so many that are misguided by the idea that a baby solves everything and don't know the true hardships of being a teen parent.

When the students were surveyed, a large majority agreed that they didn't realize having, and raising a baby, and becoming a parent was so hard and difficult.

Also, if they could do it over they would even though they loved their baby.
