u obviously don't know much about taekwondo. Know what u are talking about before u make a comment like that about taekwondo. U probably haven't been in the ring before. You don't know how painful and how hard those kicks are when they hit your body. You don't know of the physical, mental, and sometimes emotional challenges that you have in the taekwondo ring which you don't have in other martial arts. In short, you don't know what you're talking about.

@kadfjkdf Taekwondo is a pussy martial art for pussies. Get real, dude. Mixed Martial Arts proved what was effective and what isn't. Effective? Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Not effective? TAEKWONDO, Ninjitsu, and Hapkido, LMFAO.

Mixed Martial arts only proved what works in an octagon against a single person who has the same skills you do.

Also, why do people always assume that TKD as a martial art is only what you see in sport TKD? Kung Lee is a mma fighter with a background in TKD, and so is Anderson Silva.

BTW, tonnes of guys from Muay Thai join TKD and vice versa. Muay Thai guys get dropped all day in TKD and TKD guys get dropped all day in Muay Thai... it's a different game with different rules.

Wow small world. This kid is in the same division as a fighter from my school. In fact they both lost to the same guy (Timothy Kinley from VA) in SD at this year's U.S. Open. If they haven't faced each other yet I'm sure they will soon.
