  • wow

  • I love the old style dresses too,not like the clown outfits that they wear today :(

  • Just realized that this must be a video from the 1980s due to the more tradtional dress, no wigs and ankle socks. Old school rulz.

  • @fulconer Those wigs are horrible.

  • frckn love the old style dresses .... so classy.

  • Very nice from Mexico!

  • it makes me live in ireland!!

  • The reel's called The Mountain Road

  • We need more! Turn the sound up!!

  • ...one of the best parts of the whole movie;-) *stillgotchills*:)

  • I love the old school dresses

  • @blondie1785 Me too!!

  • I thought Ireland was nice and green. It looks like shyte in this video

  • LOL!!!!

It can't be green 12 months per year!

  • sometimes its white(snow), but mostly brown(mud) from all the rain..lol

  • Very nice. I started Irish dance classes in January. We started out by learning the basic steps, but now we're getting into the real stuff and its getting harder. Its so much fun though. I recommend it to everyone.

  • Yeah, everyone starts with the basics, but indeed it's great great fun :D I'm off for a feis again this saturday

  • I like the steps of the two hand girls

  • Oh, I like the traditional style of the dresses too! It looks so much better than the modern styles. But the most girls like it.

  • @Kriesbach1986 they're very pretty, but unfortunately they're practically as heavy as a suit of armor. They're a nightmare to dance in. At least girls don't pass out at competitions they way they used to!

  • Love the fiddle, love the dresses, love the dancing.

  • Lovely dresses and NO WIGS yay! Hate them yokes there awful!

    Nice dancing too

  • these dresses are lovely!!!

  • i love irish dancing. i started a few months ago so im not that great but its so much fun! i think the hard shoes are scary tho...i always feel like im going to slip

  • I had that too in the beginning... Especially when I first had to do it in public! Now I've done some hard shoe dances at feiseanna too and even won 3rd place with the traditional set dances **proud** You'll get used to it, don't you worry!

  • woohoo for the dresses!

  • I agree on that part!! I totally prefer the more traditional style of dresses... and without the wigs!

  • @witteroos same i hate the wigs the are so fake! and i also prefer traditional dresses instead of those horrible neon shiny plastic things they wear today, i am an irish dancer but i do the traditional festival style not the Coimsiun style, and in festival style we dont wear wigs and we have traditional simple school dresses! :)

  • @callummckenzie1 I do dance in Coimsiun style, but still I don't wear a wig (at all) and my dress (I don't have a schooldress) is quite easy going, or at least it will be: it'll be finished in about 3 weeks

  • Yeah, this is more the traditional style dresses and not quite the disco ball some girls are wearing nowadays

  • I miss those style dresses...they are lovely. Great dancing!
