Oh, hon, I can't imagine. I have a rabbit I call bunny foo foo. I've had him for three years now and I can't imagine having to face days, sometime in the future, coming through the door at the end of the day, suddenly not being greeted by him anymore. I am so sorry for your loss.
He's so old and he eats the grass slowly.. My bunny is also a Dutch rabbir. I can see the future of my little bunny :( Anyway Romone has lived a long life. Hope he will rest in peace.
What a beautiful bunny. I've read somewhere that the Dutch have the most amazing personalities and I think it's true - also they seem quite durable as your bunny was quite long-lived. My Dutch Spike just turned 11.
He's had hind leg pareisis (can't hop around) for some time now and I'm afraid his time will come sooner than later also. (But he's still eating and interested though). It's so hard to let the little guys go.
Thanks. I know another Dutch who'll be 11 this week. My Dutch was very interested and eating until he got sick, he was an active elder bun, which was wonderful for me. It is hard to let go, Ramone was my best friend. What a great, great bunny to have for 9.5 years.
Wahooo Ramone, you big beautiful bunny :) We miss you so much. Its great to get to see you having a few munches out in the yard. Rest in peace my fluffy friend.
