So Ive been told by a few people this game is impossible on its highest difficulty, but literally about a half hour ago i beat it.. Creatures and npc's just do more dmg but a head shot is still a head shot :)

Considering the wide freedom in this game, setting up traps and earning head shots on unsuspecting dwellers at a distance ends up with the same results on all difficulties. The result? You standing over their bodies looting them. xD

I findt stalkers graphics to be not the flashing unreal 3 graphics that most people regard as 'great looking'. Stalker succeeds in creating a belivieble, and sometimes overimmersive, (i have to admit :P) atomosphere. The graphics are just photorealistic, but thats not the best part of the game. Btw nice video :D.

Best thing about this game, is DX10 players can play with nice graphics. I play in DX11 looks amazing Maxed except AA causes the game to crash at the weapon modders. But looks no different with it off in Max res.

Wow. Graphics remind me of Crysis or Far Cry 2 and the sky was epic. It was funny when those mutants ambushed you, those stalkers were like "None of my business, walking away". Plus why do people compare this to COD? COD is a quick and mindless shooter. This is a hybrid of an rpg, a shooter and a survival horror.

Play it for yourself. It is an amazing looking game. It has incredible atmosphere, lighting, weather, the list goes on. Not to mention, this gameplay video uses DX10, the game itself is optimised for DX11. I hope you understand teh difference between youtube quality and full resolution gameplay.

You can kill bloodsuckers with your knife very easily. wait for them to run at you and just right click. You'll stab them right in their face and then watch them fall to the floor. Conserves ammo and it's the best form of attack because they are generally close to you.

Not strictly true. It may not be perfect for it but it is very good. It's only a matter of time before developers start using them and coding for them properly.
