  • thanks, thanks i give u my hands thanks

  • This is a rare treat!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @gemmni1: Your comment was so off-base it should have been deleted. Open your ears and listen to the emotion in Aretha's voice. Aretha is the Queen of Soul - you cannot attain that label unless you sing with emotion. Make people feel the lyrics and the music. Patti LaBelle is a great songress and she is a soul singer also. Why must we compare. Both of these ladies are PHENOMENAL vocalists. I could listen to either of them all day and every day.

  • @mariewilder dont get me wrong aretha indeed is the queen of soul so let me reinstate myself on the song re re aka areatha franklin sang the song lazy and again marie wilder we are in america and iam intittle to my free speech and my own opinion thank you very much

  • @gemmni11: Of course, you have your opinion. I shouldn't have commented to have your thoughts deleted. I am just puzzled by the lazy comment about Aretha. Aretha sung the live version slower and more soulful. Did not mean to offend.

  • @mariewilder marie wilder what i mean is the recorder version of spakel on the movie lp lady soul give me the chills and mke the hairs stand up on my head but here live re re should have the same effect on you but here live i do not feel a thing areatha should have sung in a much higher key and hit and hold all the high notes just like she did on the lp now mariewilder you go listen to thr lp and i bet you will feel the same .thank you

  • @gemmni11: I know exactly what you mean and I completely agree with you that the LP version is phenomenal!! So heartfelt. I still like this version because its an amazing song - and Aretha still songs great. Yeah....original version is classic!!

  • @mariewilder hey now we agree you have good taste in music i see you are so right the spakel lp is a classic even today it still stands the test of time

  • prefection...

  • Yes she is so quit hatin

  • no she aint we aint even goint to do that

  • Aretha Franklin is to the recording industry what Katherine Hepburn was to the motion picture industry. THE Matriarch.

What a grand lady. Thanks for the upload.
