  • They don't make music like this anymore. Truely great times in music, the 70s.

    A shame...

  • these guys are creepy as fuck

  • anyone else kinda reminded of early talking heads? in the mannerisms and delivery of the lyrics, feels very david byrne-esque to me. good shit.

  • the best way to convince people is to POUND THEM OVER THE HEAD! ha ha

  • they remind me of early Pink Floyd a bit

  • THIS IS A WEIRD SONG WTF

  • who sample this?waajeed?

  • @SERPIENTEjack MADLIB all day bro

  • @gillagillahouse yes you are right ,i thought waajeed sample this on the patty hearst beat tape

  • @SERPIENTEjack what patty hearse tape?

  • @MichaelHansenFUN It was a promo Cd i was given by bling 47 as a present after buying some records from them.it is from 2006 i think and its pretty good.real vintage waajeed.some beats appeared on the war lp on the next year.

  • Hmm...Throbbing Gristle/Swans mashup, anybody?

  • @BitchinnShoes07 I don't know what the Swans are but you had me at Mashup

  • @DimensionsofChange you're missin out brah.

  • @BitchinnShoes07 there is a 50% chance you're right.

  • i have a semi rare outtake of Genesis...

  • nice

  • I bet they inspired Gary Numan.

  • @WoodRatGirl

i'm sure they did to a certain extent. i remember him saying in an interview that his biggest influence was bowie.

  • @ixceix who's "him"?

  • @WoodRatGirl Them the Human League, Ultravox, Genesis (In think) and David Bowie Influenced Gary Numan

  • The live version from the Ajanta cinema Derby is better.

  • Synherzeir never will soound sooooo good again! And P Orridddige!!!!!!!!!Thisis it1!!!

  • I heard Throbbing Gristle was the pioneer on industrial music.

  • @Silentt29 YOU HEARD?! Can't you tell by it's sound that is something normal today, in 1979?

  • @Silentt29 They actually coined the term "Industrial" (as far as music goes)

  • @Silentt29 They invented the term 'industrial music' so yes.

EBM (Kraftwerk, Front 242, Nitzer) has nothing to do with industrial btw, but there exists electro-industrial, which we have(or had..) skinny puppy, front line, informatik, numb, and such. These days people prefer to listen to simple-minded music, really annoying. selling out to Mainstream is simple. for simple people.

  • cool someone also made a home made video for this song also
