  • putting all the political bullshit aside, which we can argue for the rest of our lives, just like religion...( oh what is right,?! what is wrong?! and the difference between......, and tryin to prove how smart we are...lol oh yea... ) just listen to the music man...i cannot get enough of the song that starts at 1.00 minute mark...pure beauty...what is the name of it my friends?

  • @kadir1982 It is from the soundtrack, the song is "Leaving Miramar" composed by Gustavo Santaolalla. The entire soundtrack is incredible

  • @kadir1982 Gustavo Santaolalla - Apertura, thats how i actually found this movie. :) throught the music!

  • Moving film.... I wept, I laughed, I cared.

  • "let the world change you and you can change the world"!

  • One of my favorite movies of all time

  • this is an excellent film!

  • hasta la victoria siempre!!!!!

  • I can say this right now, this movie is the most fucking spectacular movie I have ever watched in my entire life. Too good for words.

  • no matter how beautiful ideas led che as he ended up as a murderer. one cannot change the world eliminating opponents. the most sincere intention of making the world better can be spoiled by spilling one drop of blood.

  • @kkgda Most revolutions let to blood spills, the french revolution, the russian revolution, the american revolutions. What about the blood and misery the system spills to keep his tyranical hold on the opressed? He was no more a murderer than George Washinton.

  • FUCK THE CIA!!!!

  • @tubehaug98 no wonder norway is doing so much than the US, que Dios bless you

  • @tubehaug98 Congratulations to the educational system of Norway!

  • All time favorite movie, this what a true human being is. Someone able to stand along all kinds no matter who they were and stood up against the corrupt and superpowers of the World for the better future.

  • is this film in english?

  • @dolinovodno5000 Its in Spanish but it has English subtitles.

  • I had to watch this for my drama studies in Spanish but this film is easily one of the best films i've seen. It really touched me and encouraged me to be a better person!

  • gays and blacks he murdered?? jajaj dont be stupid , in my country we are not whites , im argentinian of course and che is an inspiration for us!! please be more respectfull when you speak about che!

  • "Che Guevara is an inspiration for every human who loves freedom." - I'd almost forgotten about the 14,000 people killed for their political ideologies. Oh, and all the gays and blacks he murdered.

  • @Oyaji291 People fight and kill for their belief that is the way of the radical.

  • @tjia1452 Right. It is pretty radical to kill innocent people merely for being gay, or black, or having a different opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @Oyaji291 There are those who are radical and fight for good reason, let it be against imperialism or greed.

  • @Oyaji291 eso es lo que te quieren hacer creer. tus papas capitalismo siempre se maneja con mentira que difunden los poderosos medios de comunicación cómplice y arma necesaria para doctrinal los pueblos.

  • LOVED THIS MOVIE! AND YES, IT WAS IN SPANISH WHEN I WATCHED IT!

  • I will lead the North American revolution, because it seems everyone else is too coward to....

  • 3rd quote is the best. I find it piss-taking how people buy merchindise with Che's face on it, even though it has probably been made in a sweat shop in some third-world capatilist country, and is bennifiting the rich only.

People have this stuff, without taking into account what he was actually trying to do and what he was against.

  • beautiful

  • I loveeeeeee Che Guevara soooooo much -3-3

  • if you want to know more about Che, read Jon Lee Anderson's biography ~ "Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life"

    It is amazing <3

  • even though i dont like che,i enjoyed the movie

  • Che= Freedom+Equality+Justice

  • I live in Miami, am Cuban/Puerto Rican, raised with listening to Immortal Technique surrounded by Cubans who spit on the name of Che because of the result of the Dictatorship he helped Made, but knowing nothing more,One thing that should be made clear, had Che survived the Revolution, had he been alive today, i promise you the way Fidel turned Cuba to be, Che would have blown Fidel's head off, cause its exactly not what he had imagined during the revolution, remember that, Che stood for equality

  • @MrWazzah equality and justice.

  • This movie is the best superhero prequel of the decade.

  • if this is the case in the 1950's, how about now? more than a third of the worlds population lives in less than 2 bucks a day. and more and more farmlands are being forcibly bought for a ripped price and throwing out the farmers.. wow.. we seriously need a new Che today.

  • Before presenting your opinion on Che, it's important to read about his life. After doing my research, I learned Che isn't all heroic and god-like, but just a man with many faults. But the more I read about him, regardless of whether or not I agreed with the things he did, I have decided that Che is indeed, one of the most "complete" men in history. He lived and died what he believed in, he never made excuses nor compromised his integrity. That is what I've come away with on Che.

  • @soggybottom I agree with you ''BEFORE PRESENTING YOUR OPINION ON EVERYTHING, YOU OUGHT TO READ ABOUT IT''

  • @soggybottom --- Good comment, but why would anyone say he's heroic and god-like? I've never heard anyone say that, and this film certainly doesn't say anything remotely like that. Just wondering, who told you that?

  • After watching this movie you are not yourself anymore. At least, you are not the same inside...

    Viva Guevara!!!

    Me encanta Espania!!

    Greetings from Greece!

  • @WhitePortrait Are u dumb ? watch?v=LwMpoDcfE_o

  • @WhitePortrait Except that he's not Spanish...

  • @pemchem i know that...

  • @WhitePortrait Oh. Well it would have made more sense to say Me encanta Argentina, I wouldn't have been so confused

  • @WhitePortrait Fuck Che.

  • @Oyaji291 I will recommend you to find a more appropriate way in order to attract attention of others and not to curse.

Let, then, the insults and talk with arguments and evidence ...

  • @WhitePortrait errr, the movie is not set in Spain but in South America.....a mi me encanta españa tanbien.

  • @BaraoVermelho i know, that was my fault..

    (me encanta argentina & espania!)

  • @WhitePortrait Fuck you!

  • The man was tryng to spread communism

    all over the world

    I see it 50/50

  • Che Guevara has been my idol for as long as I remember. I always knew what he stood for as a little girl and as I'm growing up I see it more and more.

  • 'Fairly intellectual for a Latino'...quite a crude and obnoxious comment I must say..

  • @sayantanighosh09 and on top of that its a CIA document!

  • @sayantanighosh09 sarcasm

  • @sayantanighosh09 1960 ties still had a lot of racism i believe

  • "Che is fairly intellectual for a latino" WTF.

  • If you hate che guevara, you hate what he stands for. These things were freedom, unity among south americans, abolishion of imperialism and the welfare and health, quality of life of the people. In my opinion, if you hate these things - you are a selfish, hating cunt.

Patria O Muerte! Che's memory will last forever.

  • after watching this film i actually feel different about che as a terroist than i do with other terroists like bin laden etc.

  • @bhop2468 --- I don't think you have watched the film.

  • @sturatcliffe why do you say that? dont jump to conclusions you dick

  • @bhop2468 --- Learn English. Jumping to conclusions is something else you dick. What I did was form an opinion based on your illiterate comment.

  • @sturatcliffe illiterate comment? how the fuck is that an illiterate comment? your a fucking weirdo

  • @bhop2468 ---- I rest my case.

  • Chill out everyone. It's a good, satisfying film.

  • Enjoy this film, don´t argue about politics with everything...It´s only the story of a young argentine medicine student and his best friend travelling about South America by motorcycle, nothing more!

  • Che killed a lot of people

  • @mlair122 your president too

  • @mlair122 shut up

  • @mlair122 Okay, no one knows if Che actually took a gun or weapon or anything and physically murdered someone with his own hands but it is well known that loads of people died at this guy's orders.

  • @egoista101 People do know that, Che documented it himself. Shot a man for betrayal. Through the head, he documents it in detail - he studied medicine remember - so knew about where to shoot for certain death.

  • @Js5s141 i got this answer from yahoo answers lol

  • @mlair122 --- Are you against every person or event that may cause someone's death? Then you are against a lot of things, number one is Capitalism. Look at the conditions people work in under this system.

  • great movie!!

  • VIVA MEXICO!!!

  • wots the music from the trailer

  • I'm glad my teacher showed me this movie. It really touched my heart.

  • awesome movie, i even dreamed about these characters, really good acting

  • @GreenSmog17 what have you dreamed about them?....

  • read the book its a lot more powerful

  • @Budskii1 Im almost done with it, and it has definitely changed my life.

  • Briliant movie!!

  • What a movie....

  • que sangre que hay en argentina !!!!!!! los militares argentinos transaron con los estados unidos y hubo 30000 desaparecidos ! argentina cuna de grandes !!

  • i love this movie because it shows how the ideas formed.. what made che guevara change his life around and form these brilliant ideas. when he really saw the poverty in bolivia and his perspective changed forever. so grateful my father whose from there has taken me to see the poverty within bolivia.

  • Hi my friend covered this trip on a 1946 Norton

he has written a book about the trip which comes out on 24th June 2011. it is called To Infinity and Beyond by Stephen E Holmes and is available to pre-order in the UK

  • imma break down what this movie is about...normal average kids taking a year off college and travel around South America(ballsy huh unlike u folks who aim Amsterdam)...he sees how cruelly people are suffering outside his mainland(Argentina-yes he was not Cuban).....instead of getting a degree(i think to become a doctor) he joins the army and his friend chooses to go back to his old life....if you watched it i recommend you watch Che the movie Part 1&2, its kinda like a sequal

  • @SantaBantaVEVO --- A poor breakdown. He got his degree and didn't join the army. He was exempt from National Service because of his asthma. His old friend became a leading scientist in Cuba, joining Che, and went on to become a leading worldwide authority and helping to create the best public health system in human history - Cuba's.

  • che<3

  • the idea of communism is equality, that everyone in society is rewarded for the work they do but evidently human nature is too flawed for that kind of utopia. he had an idealistic vision with good intentions but the bloody violence he conducted just doesn't make him a hero in my eyes.

  • @bluebitterfly --- There's no such thing as human nature, only human behaviour, which is simply our response to conditions and events. Unless you don't like science, in which case there is a magical invisible thing called human nature, a code we all follow, along with angel guides and telepathy. It is up to us what kind of society we have - I want one where people stop copping out and talking about rubbish like human nature as an excuse for everything.

  • lovely movie. i feel i know Che now.

  • great movie.

  • i mean seriously, if you hate che that much, and only have negative things to say about him, then why take the time to even search the for the video and spread all this hate.. i just don't get it

  • Great movie. Gael Garcia is such a versatile actor. I try to keep up with whatever film he is associated with. Che's life is story that has been told in many ways. This film adds to the legend, myth and statue of a man known as many things to different people. At the end of day, he was..he was a man and a child of GOD.

  • In Woody Allen's 2005 movie Match Point, the characters see The Motorcycle Diaries in a cinema hahaha both great movies

  • Thanks for sharing this liberating film trailer.

  • I love che, his story is so inspiring.

    Viva che!

    Viva la revolution!

  • R.I.P dear Alberto :(

  • ALBERTO GRANADOS (1922-2011); ¡¡¡HASTA SIEMPRE COMPAÑERO!!!

  • is Gael Garcia in every spanish movie???

  • awesome movie

  • i dont get the quote in the beginning . he is intellectual for a Latino. but isnt che white? so hes pretty intellectual for a white guy from south america? i hate when ppl think latino is a race.

  • @thunderheart226 buddy are you latino?

  • @SpartanSamura1 american(no race implied),but what do u mean since latino isnt a race.

  • @thunderheart226 well u dip im latino and yes latino is considered a race, look it up u dum shit.

  • @SpartanSamura1 no it is not. even on the 2010 census it says LATINO IS NOT A RACE is sammy sosa a black latino the same race as fidel castro a white latino? is che guvara a white guy the same a evo morales a indigenous. even this MOVIE shows Quechua ppl. did u even watch the movie?it was never considered a race latin america is a mix of former black slaves white Spaniards/Portuguese/french and native americans like aztec and incas.are these ppl all the same race?so who really is dumb?hmmm

  • @thunderheart226 fuck i dont care, im cuban and im fuking latino.

  • @SpartanSamura1 wow i was just looking at william levy's wikipedia he is also cuban and he is whiter than bush lol. latino is not a race.stop trying to confuse ppl sammy sosa a black Dominican is not the same race as fidel castro a WHITE CUBAN CREOLE.latino means someone who speaks a language from latin as a mother tongue has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE lol.if ur born in america then your american.was JFK an irishman? or was he an American? lol

  • @thunderheart226 Wait wait let me add something else, u ignorant bitch, ask any latino or hispanic anybody from cuba to chile ask them are you considered white? they will say no, becuase latinos who are not a race dont consider themselves white, and i bet you looked that up to TRY to prove me wrong, you cant argue about latinos with a latino, you bitch... "caugh" i mean Puto Maricon.

  • @SpartanSamura1 did u read my comment?i just left one 2 min ago. yes i have asked my Argentinean friend she says she is white.my cuban friend who has blue eyes is educated, unlike you, knows history he is a spanish creole he is of european decent. even my teacher who is from puerto rico admits hes black.look at pitbull the rapper he ADMITS HE IS WHITE.READ HIS WIKI.how am i ignorant i got a 90 in history.i didnt say all were white.i said IT WAS A MIX.keyword MIX. ur failing at this argument bro

  • @SpartanSamura1

cursing at him in a language he doesnt even speack just proves how ignorant and stupid YOU are... every educated "hispanic" person i've met admits latino is not a rrace, and they recognize that they're white, black or a mix, its only ignorant mother fuckers like you that walk around with your belts around your thighs and your fitted caps, that wont ever considered them selves white, or mixed with white, cuz " white people are nerdy or not cool". thats why ignorant baboons like

  • @SpartanSamura1

are in the same social and economic class that you were when u first got off the plane/boat, while asians are already making more money on average than whites. despite being here a short time, compared to the amount of time "hispanic" have been in this country.... go back to summer school kid, u need it, stop cutting class...

  • @thunderheart226

The word "latino" is 'usually' used to denote someone who has descendants from the Latin Americas, i.e. native Indians. In his case it doesn't apply since his descendants are all European. That said, if the only life he knew was that of a Latin American, then by all means he was Latin American. Also, so far as I'm concerned there's only one race: the human race. I think the words you were looking for were "ethnic group".

  • @SteelCityEcologist no latino means someone who speaks a language derived from latin.so french ppl italian ppl Portuguese ppl are all latino, it doesnt mean native indian.not everyone is latin america is an indian, che is white like fidel, sammy sosa is black etc. mapuche and Quechua speakers arent latinos even thought they are from a "latin" country.ethnic group isnt race. white isnt an ethnicity thats like german Japanese ,american those are ethnicities. but i get what ur saying.

  • @thunderheart226

Equivocation is the name of the game, my friend. "Latin" is of course derived from the actual language. "Latino" on the other hand has a specific geographical basis (the Americas). Obviously not everyone in Latin America is Indian, which is why I said "...has descendants". Also, Portuguese, while their language has its foundations in Latin, are not "Latino" (See wiki entry for "Latino"), once again this is called "Equivocation".

    p.s.

    American, Japanese, etc are nationalities

  • @thunderheart226

who sorry i got confused with you and another dude, im sorry... damn youtube comment system is not designed for discussions....

  • @SteelCityEcologist

whoa whoa, i think youre trying to have your cake and eat it too, first you say "Latino is a race" than you say "as far im concerned the only race is human" make up your mind. by the pseudo definition of race, Latino CANNOT qualify as one!!! in America is means someone from Latin America, since there is no SPECIFIC physical characteristic (that what race is) of TODAYS Latin america than it cannot be a race, and around the world Latino means someone who speaks a language

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @SteelCityEcologist

derived from Latin, so that is even less of a race..

  • @thunderheart226 Latino basically means someone with roots from LATIN America where Spanish is the dominant language. Many ignorant people from the U.S. consider Latin Americans to be backwards, which is why the CIA idiot who wrote that report was surprised that a LATIN American like Che was so intellectual. If you don't agree with the term then go take it up with Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Pablo Neruda, Eduardo Galeano and Octavio Paz.

  • @AndrewMann552

i hope you know that is only in the United States, everywhere else in the world Latin means South Western European, i.e. France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

  • @quinofking Really? So is that why the European press also uses the term "Latin American" to describe people from LATIN AMERICA? Do a quick search in The Guardian, The Inedependent, La Monde etc. etc. etc.

  • @AndrewMann552

i ment the word LATIN ALONE!!!!! latin america or latin american is the correct term!!! is that Latin means Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. now those countries are not in the Americas therefore Latin America is a completely different thing than LATIN!!!

  • @AndrewMann552 they are talking about latin america.thats not the same as latin. quin is right latin,in europe refers to the romance language countries.latin america means the same but in the american continent.so haiti is part of latin america but not latin europe and vise versa.Latin and latin america are 2 different things.its like saying British and British indian,2 different things

  • i started the book today and i am fascinated already,I've seen the movie several times and i HAD to read the book.

  • Finished the book earlier today. Truely inspirational. I hope the film does it justice.

  • Im sick of going onto videos and seeing paragraph after paragraph of people arguing with one another, fucking hell people. ITS A FUCKING MOVIE TRAILER.

  • People often complain about others behavior, but if it's the actual world sitution who make some people behave as they do. Then they should ask themselves what is to blame

  • so this movie isn't about motorcycles

  • @weathered79 LMAOO hahahha love this comment

  • @weathered79 hahahaha, best comment

  • @weathered79 lol no XD

  • @weathered79 -SPOILER- Turns out the motorcycle gets busted half way through the movie. The rest is traveling by something else!

  • "Che was fairly intellectual for a Latino", by CIA.

Like if it wasn't common for a Latino to be intellectual...they are so ignorant that they think in the US there are more intellectuals than in Argentina, poor pigs.

  • hey!people, the guitar song that plays at the begining is called lago frias by Gustavo Santaolalla :) the intro is quite long it starts in time something like 1:20 min...

  • Michael Jackson said it best, 'If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and MAKE a change!!!" WHHHHOOO!!!"

  • @mycatisromeo the only thing is he took that saying way to seriously and went a little bit to far..

  • @TheAvestan I haven't seen this one either, but nobody has answered you, so I will.

I was talking to a man that saw both, and he said that CHE was better than The Motorcycle Diaries, though they're both very good. Apparently TMD isn't as factually correct as CHE, but it's still good. That's what the man said.

  • “If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine."

    - Che Guevera

  • sad at the end : (

  • Brilliant movie... Take a look at. REVOLUTIONROAD tv interview, REVOLUTIONROAD photo compilation REVOLUTIONROAD and NORTONRIDERS IN CUSCO ... ALL ON YOU TUBE!!!! These guys made the trip on the same bike as Che and Alberto!!!!!

  • @steveeholmes that's amazing, but surely 'The Mighty One' is scrap by now?!

  • this is a really good movie, I lived in Argentina to study for school a semester and I got to travel around South America a little and its beautiful

  • power to the poor fuck the rich

  • What is the guitar at the end?! That song....

  • @GossamerWaits The song is called Chichina from the soundtrack.

  • Whats the songs used for this one?

  • I am in love with Gael.

  • Well this movie completely changed my view on Che. Great man.

  • i've heard people call che a terrorist..

    che was a revolutionary

if he was a terrorist then i guess george washington was a terrorist

every revolution has came at the price of death

    american revolution... french revolution...

you name it you can all him a communist all you want but capitalism isn't perfect either. here in america the rich prosper because of capitalism. maybe if you had some heart you could see that he wanted to help the poor workers.

  • @mgsdini95 Did Washington order the executions of thousands of civilains without a trial? Did he encourage his men to kill any of their comrades that they felt showed the least bit lack of loyalty? Did he personally write in his diary how he dreamed of becoming a killing machine? did he hate any other country so much that he wishes he could kill every person who lived there? no. Che stood for communism which is NOT freedom capitalism isnt perfect but communism/socialism is not the answer

  • @mgsdini95 Che put in power one of the most notorious dictators of all time Fidel Castro and nearly every cuban citizen is willing to swim across shark infested waters to get to America a CAPITALIST nation they risk being eaten by a shark rather than living in communsim under the regime Che put into power to "help" the people. Che is no better than any other war mongering blood thirsty war criminal except for the fact that he was stopped before he could do any more damage.

  • @mikess56 OK, first of all, the risk of a shark attack is 1 in 3,748,067.

Second of all, Che did not put Castro in power, Castro put Che in power. Che met Castro after Castro had already planned the revolution.

Third, Che did not put anyone into power.

Fourth, most of the Cubans that migrated to America were children of the rich upper class and later the upper class itself, for fear of losing land or money due to redistribution. I don't know why you say "nearly every cuban citizen".

    Stupid.

  • @DustyFlapjack But what about the executions?

  • @mgsdini95 The only fucking reason you people make EXCUSES for this evil man who killed people for their beleifs the same way he was killed. Is because his stylized image on a shirt looks cool, he looks cool, he chose to fight instead of live a comfortable life, women find him sexy, and his life story is unique but so was hitler's Stalin's Mao's and Ho chi Minh's bot NO ONE gives a SHIT about them because they are icky looking and killed the amount of people che only wished he could

  • @mgsdini95

I agree with you on the fact that every revolution comes with the price of death, but the revolutionists in the french revolution betrayed and didn't give a damn about the rights that they sought to establish and protect. Instead they established a regime of terror and oppression that was in no way better than the monarchy from before. It's no miracle that the french people in the end longed for stability and accepted Napoleon as their emperor.

    Just a small correction.

  • @SaintBroken You're right about the french revolution, but not every revolution has come with the price of death.

Just look up nonviolent revolution on Wikipedia, there is a list of all bloodless revolutions.

  • @DustyFlapjack

True! For some reason I completely forgot about those! :P

  • @mgsdini95 as I agree with you about che and your comment in general, not every revolution has cost lives. Look up the Glorious Revolution in England. This is just one bloodless revolution that comes to mind.

  • @mgsdini95 he didnt start off as a terrorist but he did end up that way, like a lot of revolutionaries he started with all the right pricipals but ened up becoming just like those he despised. a shame because he had so much to give the world. a beautiful movie but a bastard of a man

  • @mgsdini95

under communism, everyone is "poor" by most standards (aside from the leaders, of course)

  • Comment removed

  • @mgsdini95 You speak words of the wise, you are obviously a very smart person. True communism only works in theory. Capitalism only works if everyone is rich. I personally think socialism is the best, I kind of like to rename it The Robin Hood government. It makes everyone more equal without making everyone get the same everything.

  • @mgsdini95 may God bless you bro
