@ScooterboySkaterboy 3 pointers are crucial, especially if you're on a team who isn't strong on inside game/doesn't have much size. It's a huge part of the game, and something a junior at my high school is getting to go to a Division 1 college for... o.o

You only think it isn't crucial because your team can obviously work on the inside. You would see it differently if they could only work on the outside. 3's are a great way to rack up quick points--especially at the end of ball games.

try this.........alot of pro players will tell u this.......dont so much shoot for the rim....but shoot for a spot above the rim that the ball has to travel past to drop in.....its just like pool u check the cue ball then the object ball then find the MIDDLE ground......and make ur release point higher....dont concentrate on ur arm.....follow thru with ur wrist

I have used the same ACRONYM for shootin gfor almost 20 years, BB EEEE FF. BB is for Bend knees and Balance. EEEE is for Eyes, Elbows in, Extension and Elevate. FF is for Follow through and Fingers (having your fingers too close or stretched to the point of straining can ruin everything else. Also ake sure the thumb is down on the follow through). While shooting you can't think but if you are starting to miss a lot, BB EEEE FF is like a check list for almost any problem with your shot.
