is the gearing shorter on the 3series? my fathers E34 1995 520i use to max out at just about 140mph (i think 235km/h?) and still not be in the red zone.

520 24v have a top of 215km/h

my car is a 540i and drives 250km/h not a 520i! do you now what 520i means?

that means a 5 serie 2liter 6 cilinder straight whit 126hp or 24v 150 never goes 250km/h

i don´t believe that your 320i is only so slow. our old E34 520i runs 250kmh. and I drove my friend´s E46 320 to 250kmh.

2 Liters 250 kmh ? LOL Technical Spezifikation BMW is that a 520i goes VMax 215 kmh. For 250 you need in the 5 Gear over 7000 U/min- its not possible.

e30 320 has 130ps.a friend of mine did a 217 in an 320 with 5rpm i have a photo in my mobile phone but cant pass it to the pc.he told me he could do even better.i dont think so!

got E30 320, got it to 210km/h and still going up (don't remember how much rpm was there)but then i have to brake. propably it could get to 220-230 or even higher (if the car is in good condition)
