  • yeah we want booji boy

  • Love Devo and this show! The comment about Steely Dan is COMPLETE bullshit, though. Makes me sad to see it has more thumbs up than every other comment

  • The Resident in the audience! Ace :)

  • According to prophecy, 3-D Tv is stupid, and its here now.

  • I saw the New Traditionalist tour at the L.A. Forum. Still one of the best music shows ever staged.

  • Man, Booji Boy totally trashed the song...

  • i wish Boojie would front Satyricon or Slayer.

  • @BRUTALSFX Booji and King for president!!!!!

  • Nothing against Josh, but I'd give anything for Alan to come back to the band.

  • I remember that "Do you want Booji Boy ?" from Devo's Halloween concert at Radio City Music Hall, but it was an intro to a different song. A cool thing about that show was that I saw a bunch of people at the bus station dressed in Devo gear, and afterwards I saw Yoko Ono (who had presumably been at the show)...

  • i love beautiful world

  • At the time this was taped in Hollywood in Oct. 1982 I was a senior in high school and would have thought (at the time) that anyone who would attend a Devo show was a lame wuss. However, 27 years later I look at the studio audience members with complete envy. What an absolutely great band (that I foolishly refused to go see back in their hay day).

  • he looks like roger ebert in that mask

  • @ECTOdash1 Dam you are so right... that is funny as all get out.. :)

  • Does anyone know where/if one can buy a Booji Boy mask?

  • @mistermudslick Ok... That's it. I'm calling the FBI.

  • @flicklefish Huh? Not getting it.

  • does anyone know where this was filmed? this was a great show. the paramount show in portland or was right aroung this time.

  • devolution is real

  • jerry looks like he's straining his eyes in all these 3-devo videos

  • "Resist and Fight Back" wow

  • I enjoy watching Booji bashing the 3-D concept while empty adverts for 3-D pop up.

  • I do not know why DEVO is not in the Rock Hall of Fame!

They were innovators of their time, socially and musically!

  • The Hall of Fame is an irrelevant joke when it actually come to judging an artist's innovation and impact on music.

I mean Steely Dan is there...seriously

  • point taken...

  • @juankenon For this very reason it came as a shock when The Talking Heads accepted the invitation. Hall of Fame's truly are pointless; if you're a musician or filmmaker you should want your legacy live strictly through your body of work and not some silly conceded award that defiles everything you believed in.

  • @juankenon Hmm. You were being sarcastic about the Steely Dan comment, right?

  • @raggabass They were almost. they declined, because Alan wasn't there.

  • very special night for that guy at 2:28??guy has a tux and what might possibly be his date dancing with him.

  • what's the last song they play?

  • the last song they play is "beautiful world" it just goes on for 9 minutes.

  • Another excellent version of this song.

  • Is that a real Resident in the crowd there?

  • The 1996 Park City, Utah show at Sundance actually had a 10+ minute "Beautiful World" with a very long introduction. Booji, apparently, got lost backstage.

  • I watched that entire concert just now on youtube. I didn't want it to end! I wish I were born much earlier so that I could have seen them live in this era!

  • wow... this kinda footage has convinced me to petition my congressman to fund science so a time machine can be invented and i can go back and see DEVO live.

  • Just go see them on tour this fall.
