If you think about the time it took for the Borg to launch each offensive against Earth, it shows how low of a priority humans actually were. In Voyager you hear stories of hundreds of Cubes surrounding a Star System, yet in each case when they attacked Earth they only sent one cube, and there was a sizable gap when sending them. With the resources the Borg had the Federation would have never stood a chance if Humans were a high priority.
As sci-fi villains go The Borg really assimilates the cake; along with the oven, the kitchen, the whole damn family, village, city, state, planet, etc, etc, etc....
stop ruining star trek. Nothing happened after the final episode of TNG. Especially not Voyager or That terrible show with that Spatula guy. And none of the TNG movies ever happened either.
Whoops just remembered the Douwd Kevin Uxbridge wished them out of existence after they destroyed Rana 4 the ship in the clip I pasted to my previous comment is merely his imagined recreation of it. So to fight the Borg in future the federation either have to find Kevin or travel back in time to find the Husnak/Husnock.
Are we to assume the Borg have yet to encounter the Husnak or Husnock? or Have they already assimilated them as their shield technology looks familiar /watch?v=H_XbWq49vUM
@quest33613 Bees have a hive mind and a QUEEN, too. The Borg Queen processes their thoughts into a coherent single voice. She's the conductor of the orchestra, so to speak.
What we need is startrek back and an enemy that makes the borg look like pussycats, trashes them and threatens extermination on the UFP.
The desperate struggle to survive would really be the cool kicker in the star trek series, something even worse than the dominion, but with no sense of hesitation, mercy or fair play, hehe!
