My friend just flew up from a small airport in San Diego and they didn't even search people there. If this was necessary, wouldn't it be even more important at airports near the border? Soon, we will have checkpoints at the mall,grocery stores,football games ,theaters and anywhere else there are large groups of Americans who need protecting

Yeah I'm done flying to the states. I felt so violated, and they took forever with screening they tried to tell me my flight took off. They LIED to me! After I went apeshit, some random luggage guy shows up telling the flight people that my check in luggage is on the flight and they have to let me on.

This entire issue has been settled in court, $35k spent by Phil Mocek vs NM. TSA admitted in court that to board a plane a passenger need only show a ticket. We don't have to show ID, and we don't have to submit to search. That's the law of the land. Why Americans in mass continue to allow themselves to be assaulted and rights violated baffles me.

They give you the option of a full body scanner if you want to avoid a pat down. You can't refuse all procedures on the grounds that you don't like them. People need to get over it.

@biorgymd I doubt it. But let's pretend you are right for a moment. If seeing inside my home is necessary to ensure I may continue to live there without being killed by an atomic bomb, then the answer is yes... yes I would get over it.
Anyway, while you must abide by the laws, your home is your own domain. It's a lot different than willingly purchasing public airfare with the prior knowledge of TSA policy and then refusing to cooperate because you don't like it. I repeat... get over it!

In case you don't have access to a dictionary, the definition of Inalienable is, “Incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred”. Which means, just because you buy an airline ticket, your rights are Incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred.

@bloodguzzler That's a good point, Im not going to lie. But the fact of the matter here is that ANY organization can set specific requirements like these to enter their premises. It's very simple- you can maintain 'Security in your person' until you attempt to gain access to someone else's shit. For bars, you have to be 21. For golf courses, you have to be a member. For a public airport, you have to go through security. & like all organizations, if you cant or wont comply, you dont have to enter

Organizations in the past have attempted to establish their own “Policies”, such as No Jews Allowed, and the US Supreme Court has ruled it Unconstitutional. Once this issue is put before the Supreme Court, the Court will have no other option but to rule it Unconstitutional, because it is.

My friend just flew up from a small airport in San Diego and they didn't even search people there. If this was necessary, wouldn't it be even more important at airports near the border? Soon, we will have checkpoints at the mall,grocery stores,football games ,theaters and anywhere else there are large groups of Americans who need protecting

@1701Tex - Within 10 yrs . Americans will be searched before entering a mall, movie house, train, bus,
park or highway. There are random checkpoints all over Calif and Arizona. Border patrol stop and search cars of ordinary Americans. They are looking for weapons and drugs and cash. illegal immigrants? All travel at night along back roads, and on foot. There are fewer border patrol in 2010 than in 1990. Border is nearly wide open and it is VERY easy to cross.

These scanners would not have prevented the underwear bomber. They and the pat downs are pointless b/c terrorists can now hide explosive devices inside their anus. Does that mean we must undergo cavity searches now? I just find it ironic that the ppl who say "keep gov't off our backs" are willing to have gov't in our pants. Ppl need to do their hw and realize these methods will not keep us safe. In fact nothing will. Accept it and live yr life happily

Implied consent is not consent and further more for them to have a case, the implied consent standards must be posted somewhere visible so you see their requirements and agree to them simply by proceeding.

People need to know what to say and how to establish their authority over these people and the liability they are commercially bound to once questioned properly.
There is now law nor is their a statute obligating us to this treatment. They have an enactment with no jurisdiction over us.
Then you request to see their badge, photo I.D. and business card to substantiate their authority which they can not produce because this is all corporate an unlicensed.
It simply boils down to flying or not

@SonicYouth5469 here's the confusion, it IS illegal in ALL circumstances however, you are consenting so it's the difference between say consensual sex and rape or a willful donation and robbery.
Say you do get sexually groped during the search, now you must prove the case which won't be easy. Meanwhile you were tricked into agreeing to a situation that violates your 4th amendment rights which are inalienable, even by YOU!
All new legislation is superseded by the Federal constitution.

in fact they're required to compare all proposed bills to the constitution and if any component is in violation of any section, they must rewrite the bill to be in compliance. So we're talking about THOUSANDS of legislative statutory acts that are unconstitutional, were passed illegally and have no true power unless....
UNLESS the court you take the case before is corrupt!

Only 3% of travelers are subject to these screening measures. And to compare the TSA to the SS or Gestapo is absurd-the TSA has not killed, nor has it persecuted. Funny, at 11:30 he says "And on the street, you have to have some kind of reasonable suspicion [to search someone]..." So true. Not even the police can search you unless they have a probable cause. In this case, boarding a plane is supposed to be the cause they are basing their search on. Sorry, last I checked boarding a plane a every person's right to do, it's not suspicious that someone wants to board a plane.

I work at an airport myself, I put a uniform on every day to do so, and I would never have anyone relinquish their rights in order for me to do my job.
