  • Random question, where do you guys get those overall's, or who makes them? I see the SRY and CN guys wearing when we take trains up to Canada, but I can't seem to find them in the US. The best I've been able to find is orange coveralls with the reflective stripes, but not the bib overall type. BTW: jealous you guys can get on/off moving equipment. For us BNSF folks, that's a "serious" rules violation that can result in termination. They're taking all the fun out of the job.

  • Where the loco's belt packed.

  • streeech!

  • Join us 2 Hold Hands haha!!.

  • @Adrian45738 Yeah, thats basically what its like, coupling up train cars....its just like holding hands lol

  • NIceXD

  • you should show the hose hookups

  • Good!!!

  • what train is this

  • when does he choke the train when that guy says come on? or when he is about 2 feet from cars? or when he couples to train?

  • I Miss the days of getting on moving equipment (Without looking around first) , and YES that is a CHOKE !!! Looks like that hogger thinks those cars are made of glass LOL

  • What hogger? The hogger is that little pack on the guys belly. These are remote controlled engines.

  • Oh Yeah I see that now, Glad I don't have to wear one of those things

Beltpacks - Just say NO !!!

  • heheh, got that right. Though locally CN wants to set up more beltpack jobs, Lynn Creek, Lulu Island, even some transfer jobs from Thornton to Lynn creek they want to start running with Beltpacks. Other railroads are getting rid of remote control operations, CN wants to increase its use.

I hate working beltpack(and not just because I'm a cutback hogger), my back is so sore at the end of the shift from packing that thing around all night.

  • @toddcfghjk CN encourages you to get on moving equipment. Still very much allowed at CN.

  • wat switcher was this? was it the mp15dc or the sw1500 switcher

  • at cn they are classified as GY418... i think it is a gp9. we are on the slave though. an engineless cut down locomotive just used for traction by using the power from the main locomotive which it is coupled to.

  • @hodgsontoaylen they can do that ? hmmm learn something everyday i guess

  • @hodgsontoaylen in less words, a slug

  • Gotta love Beltpack lol.
