  • Does it matter what kind of cardstock you use?

  • @2007mrsj I think it does. I mean, you can use thinner paper, but it will curl up, depending on how much fluit you use. If you use aqurellpaper, thicker paper, then it will enhance the way the colors float into eachother and you will have pretty results. If you use thinner paper you need to suck up the puddles of fluit and the result won't be so bright.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful technique, and for taking the time to record this video in English, (for those of us who do not speak German). Your finished piece is fabulous!

  • @9doves thank you!!!

  • @ThePetravic.....oops. Spelled your name incorrectly the first time around. I saw a video today which suggests using air in a can.. ( the stuff folks use for cleaning computer keyboards). Aim it directly at the nozzle. They say it will remove the clog.

  • This is very beautiful. My question is was the paper watercolor paper and what did you do with it after completion?

  • @LaSharown I think it was heavy watercolor paper. You can use the result as a backgroun and add more layers or you can use it for postcards or frame it. thank you for watching. I am very sorry, that I couldnt find a way yet to keep on adding videos as I try to improve my actual life circumstances. But I will continue some day. I never would have expected such resonance and so many new subscribers. greetings to you and a happy x-mas preparation time. xoxoxo

  • Very beautiful. Thank you for demonstrating the techniques for us. God bless you.

  • Great Tutorial, rubbing over the gesso at the end gives it a vintage look too I think.

    TFS!

  • Wonderful demo. I'd like to know what products you use to mix your own mists. I also make my own, but can't seem to get the bright colors.

  • @Wildirish67 I use watercolors of a good quality with real good pigmentation... we have a brand in germany that is called schmincke ... I don't know if it is purchasable in the states, but I think you could also use winston and newton or how this is called.. I have no idea how much color I mix with water, but it mustn't be too thin, unless you like it that way.... I recommend to experiment thanks for watchin and your question! I hope you enjoy this. hugz

  • I love your demo, and would like to do something similar, but almost all the glimmer mists i bought are stucked! i have tried several ways to clean them but without success. I know there is a way to clean the nozzle, but lost the tip somewhere. Pls. i need your help. thanks a lot

  • I have anothe question! Please tell me where you got the stencil from and which company?

  • @LiLArTsY the stencils are also from tattered angels and it was a bigger package...I cannot remember the name, but you can see on the package if the shapes are in it, that I have used... the stash has also a fleur de lil design and nice mandala shapes etc..

  • @reginaangel Thanks! I'm planning to use this technique in my art!

  • I'd like to know, did you get those Glimmer Mists from the Tattered Angels also?

  • @LiLArTsY I used three tattered angels glimmermists and the rest is selfmixed in the mini-mr's. I wrote down the material in my discriptionbox of the video. :-)

  • wow! this seems to be a great and easy way to do art. great job!

  • @luvhotpinkscraps thank you for your comment. This technique is really nice to jump into color. Yay!!!

  • So pretty! Love that butterfly.

  • @pcrusberg thank you. It is from the tattered angels fenciful stencils pack. Awsome package.

  • thanks for the video!

  • Really pretty. I especially like the colour combination you've used.

  • Very cool technique Regina. I will have to check out this glimmer mist

  • Truly beautiful. I'm 9 hrs away from home and don't have my stuff with me. It's so hard not to be able to craft.

  • So funny that we did the same technique! I just LOVE it as well... I discovered it a few months ago by accident when I had some gesso on a scrap piece of paper that I was using to glimmermist something else on. Just love those happy accidents.

    Much Love

  • Looks great! thanks for sharing. PJ
