wow that really shocked me to hear bill say that he is homophobic and it turned his stomach. i've always considered him a great ally to the GLBT community. But also, i think he has come a long way on that issue now. i mean he's been on the cover of the Advocate! and he has defended gay rights on Real Time and other shows as well. For me, that was a really unexpected comment from him. Glad he no longer seems to feel that way.
